Mitch Santner | New Zealand captain: Yeah, some good batting by England. Obviously the pitch was definitely a little bit flatter than it was the other night. It wasn't that kind of steep bounce that we were getting. I think England were very smart in the way they played it. They obviously had the short side, but they also got a lot of twos on the big side. Yeah, and kind of kept ticking over, and there was no kind of small overs there. Whenever you get a 100-run partnership in a T20, we don't stop. Yeah, I think you look at the quality of the batters as well. We threw different options at them, and they were able to keep going. Yeah, I think the key is if you can try and get some dots, try and get wickets that way, you'll be able to generate your twos within obviously the boundaries as well. I guess if we go to Eden Park, there probably won't be as many twos because it's a smaller ground. Yeah, it becomes a bit of a different game, but perhaps one again where it's high scoring. Yeah, I think you need a lot of things to go well. You obviously need a big powerplay, and I think the way they were able to pick up wickets at the top as well makes it a challenge. But yeah, I think they were smart with the wind. The wind was there throughout the whole game, and trying to use the big side. I think we holed out a lot of times to the bigger side where I think they only had one catch up that way. (plans for Eden Park?) Try and get Brookie and Salt out. Yeah, I think again, we got a couple of days. Obviously training, assess what Eden Park's got for us. Could be a very high-scoring game again, or we've had some ones that are a little bit sticky. So we'll obviously wait and see and try and come up with some plans I guess for them.

Harry Brook | Player of the Match and England captain: Yeah, it felt good. It's always nice to contribute and to do alongside Salty, who's been very successful for us in this new era. Yeah, it was good to contribute. (partnership with Salt) No, it was just that really, just keeping each other calm, composed, and looking to manipulate the field and put them under as much pressure as possible. Yeah, absolutely. The other night we thought it probably had a little bit more live grass on it. The sun's probably helped us out and made that pitch a little bit flatter and easier for the batters. Sometimes, yeah, definitely. It depends if it comes out the middle of the bat. Yeah, tonight it was just nice to get some runs out there and hit a few out the back. (favorite shot of his tonight?) Probably one off Mitch, actually, which off the back foot. Sorry, sorry, Mitch. It's exactly what we have been talking about. We've done well in this. From the start of my captaincy we had taken a lot of wickets. And yet, to get another innings out of 10 wickets was awesome. (on his two spinners) Yeah, absolutely. They're extremely experienced and it's warming to just be able to go, lads, you go and do your thing. And Dawes took about four overs in a row there. A lot of balls to left-handers with that wind howling towards the lakeside. And the odds weren't really in his favour, but he bowled phenomenally there. And that gives me a lot of confidence moving forward. (on fielders being in from the fence) Yeah, it's just something else we've spoken about. There's a lot of balls that just get plinked into the outfield. I think there was a couple of occasions today where if we were on the road, they'd probably not carry it. So, yeah, that's just another positive move towards taking wickets.

22:33 Local Time, 09:33 GMT, 15:03 IST: All 10 New Zealand wickets have fallen to catches. Only the 13th time it has happened in T20Is. And England held on to every one of them. Just one tough one which Rashid couldn't grasp off Mitchell. The rest were all taken and some judged nicely. No big contributions from any of the New Zealanders and that hurt them. The highest was from Seifert who made 39 and that was never enough in such a big chase. Santner at the end played a nice cameo and struck them cleanly but by then the asking rate had gone up miles. Just the 5 bowlers used by England and except Sam Curran, the rest were among the wickets. Adil Rashid the pick with a four-fer and the spinners combined for 6 wickets for 70 runs. New Zealand had too much to do with the bat after giving away so many with the ball. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...
