Dewald Brevis | Player of the Match: I am happy, I am enjoying the game, having fun out there. Need to be myself, need to be that kid who has always enjoyed the game while playing out there. Need to stay out there and enjoy every moment. I kept telling my mind, it's cool out there, not warm (conditions.) When I went out there, I always wanted to play for the team. I needed to play an innings like that, I am very grateful for it. I need to keep playing that's what everyone has said. People have said that red-ball cricket is the pinnacle. Need to keep playing and do what's right for your game. That plays a key role for batting a long time out there. It (being compared to AB) has always been a privilege, because AB is someone I look up to, he has helped in improving my game, but I want to be my own player, it's an honour to be compared to him.

(2/2): When we started the season, the first four games were in Chennai out of the first six games. We decided to bat second because of the dew, but I felt the wicket was good for batting in the first innings. We batted under pressure in the second innings and that confidence got sucked away from the batters and it became slightly difficult. I was worried about the batting department because at the end of the day you have to score runs. Not everybody is contributing. We can put runs on the board, but there are few holes we will like to fill. One of the most important things was when Ruturaj comes back next season, he doesn't need to worry about too many things. He needs to maybe fit in one role from the eleven. You feel old (when someone like Suryavanshi touches your feet.) Not to forget I have Andre (Siddarth) in my team. I sit on the last seat and he sits next to me. Was just having a chat and I asked him how old are you. He is exactly 25 years younger than me, that makes me feel I am seriously old.

MS Dhoni | CSK captain (1/2): It's good. I won't say it was houseful today, but decent crowd. It's a very big stadium. We didn't have a good season, but was good to finish on a winning note. It was one of those perfect performances in the bowling department and the batting department. We haven't caught very well, but this was one game where our fielding and catching was good. It (whether he will play next season) depends. I have 4-5 months to decide, there's no hurry to decide what needs to be done. Every year it's 15% more effort to keep the body fit. You have to be at your best, this is top level cricket. It's professional cricket. It's not always performance you can count. If cricketers start retiring because of their performances, some of them will retire at the age of 22. What is important to see is how much hunger you have and how fit you are. How much you can contribute for the team. Whether the team needs you or doesn’t, so I have enough time. Will go back to Ranchi, haven't been home for a while, so I will enjoy a few bike rides and then decide. I am not saying I am done, not saying I am coming back at the same time. I have the luxury of time. Will think about it and then decide.

Noor Ahmad: Great way to finish the tournament. We did not have a good season but so good to finish the tournament this way. (on which wicket he liked the most) The third one - that was good. It was a bit faster and that's what I enjoyed about it. Everyone gave their best, still we tried our best and it's cricket, ups and downs happen, hopefully we will come back stronger.

Shubman Gill: I think the game pretty much went away from us in the powerplay, we never really came back. Chasing 230 is always a tricky target. Teams already eliminated have nothing to lose and they come out all guns blazing. We weren't able to stay calm under pressure and I think we gave in to pressure. It's very important to control runs in the middle overs. If you are not going to do that it's going to be challenging. That's where we were lacking in the last two games. (Mood in the dressing room) This one would be a hard pill to swallow for us. The bright side is that we have two or three games left so boys will be motivated to play in Mohali. Fortunately for me, going back to by hometown... played a lot of cricket there and it's going to be a really exciting.

Earlier in the day, Ayush Mhatre gave them a brisk start with his cameo in the powerplay, while Conway anchored the innings and notched up a solid fifty in the middle-overs. Urvil Patel looked in pretty good touch, however, he was dismissed by Sai Kishore. Brevis played a superb knock of 57*(23) and as a result of his innings, CSK managed to post a massive total of 230. In reply, the Titans lost their in-form captain early, while Buttler couldn't get going either. Rutherford was dismissed within the powerplay as the Titans were pushed on the back foot further.
