That will be that from the top-of-the-table affair. The two bottom teams are now fighting it out to search their second win of the season. Will it be Los Angeles Knight Riders or the Seattle Orcas? Switch tabs and join us for that game to find out. Cheers!!

Glenn Maxwell: I was really happy with the total. That is the joys of having a long batting lineup, we felt like we were right in the game and then for the bowlers to come and execute. Assessing the conditions a bit quicker helps, going hard at the back end was going to be difficult and unfortunately I got out but Phillips played that role perfectly. We knew once we got out of the powerplay, it is gonna slow down and the boundaries are gonna dry up. He's (Owen) been the golden arm for us and is doing a great job. Nice to have that Q and next thing is to secure the top 2 and have that double chance.

Mitch Owen | Player of the Match: It has (the day) been good. Got a few wickets luckily and I am happy to play whatever role the team needs me. This pitch has been a bit more bowler-friendly. When I'm sticking to the process, I tend to have a look but today I got a bit excited with Xavier Bartlett running in.

Matt Short: After that start, it was a little disappointing to let them get to that total. Credit to Glenn Phillips and Obus Pienaar. I'm not one for excuses, it's a used wicket, it's baking down in the sun and it's tough for new batters. We should have been smarter and try and have the set batter through the innings like they did. It has been a really good season, personally losses bring the best in guys learning. We will touch on a couple of things in a few days' time.

18:37 local, 05:07 IST: Excellent turnaround for Washington Freedom and Mitch Owen in particular. Opting to bat, the Freedom found themselves 30/4 inside the powerplay and looked in all sorts of trouble. A vital partnership between Edwards and Phillips, however, helped them recover from a precarious position. That 71-run fifth wicket stand along with cameos from Pienaar and Mukhtar Ahmed ensured the Freedom posted a respectable total on the board. Well, it did look that way at the halfway stage. In reply, the Unicorns were 51/0 at the end of 5 overs and it appeared to be a straightforward chase. Not to be. Mitch Owen, who got out for a golden duck, struck with his first ball and also added 4 more crucial wickets to his tally to blow the opposition away. It was a used wicket, and the extra bounce along with variations proved to be a challenging factor for the batters. Stick around for the post-match reactions...

Mitchell Owen to Brody Couch, out Caught by Gous!! Mitchell Owen is unstoppable today. He now has a five-for. Has a beaming smile as he adds Brody Couch to his list. Short and angling away at pace outside off, Couch slashes and gets a healthy outside edge through to the keeper. Washington Freedom are one wicket away from sealing this. Brody Couch c Gous b Mitchell Owen 0(1)

Mitchell Owen to Brody Couch, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Mitchell Owen to Haris Rauf, out Caught by Maxwell!! Mitchell Owen may have gotten out for a golden duck, but he has made amends with the ball. It is his fourth wicket.
