It's already past midnight in Trinidad and the home team will be taking on the Warriors at 7PM local time. Pooran clearly said that his team is keen to carry on the good work done so far. So it's a quick turnaround and we will be there too. Join us on the journey in a few hours from now. Take care!

Nicholas Pooran: We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our bowlers kept us in the game and it was a par score. We had to take responsibility and proud of the guys. We want to continue the momentum, every game is very important. We have been playing really good cricket. It's an honour to be part of this team. Looking forward to tomorrow, recover quickly and put on a show for our fans.

Rovman Powell: I think it's been a difficult start. Trinidad is a difficult team to play at home. After the start we got, we thought it was good to get 170+. Bowling wise we have areas to work on. I tried something (bowling changes) as a captain and didn't work out for me from a tactical stand-point. We have five games in Barbados and hopefully the people in Barbados will come out and support us.

Colin Munro | Player of the Match: The hand is okay (got hit by a throw while batting). It always looks worse when it first happens, but not too bad at the moment. This is a special team, they gave me my first opportunity in franchise cricket and will always be grateful. I know I can always make up if I start slowly. We don't have the aura like we did 4-5 years ago as the rest of the teams have caught up and are really good.

23:54 Local Time, 03:54GMT, 09:24 IST: At 64/2 after 7 overs the game was in the balance but 55 runs in the next three overs literally sealed the deal as Pooran hit a hat-trick of sixes, while Munro played his part with multiple hits to the fence. The dropped catch off Munro on 27 by Warrican proved costly as he went on to add 93 runs for the third wicket alongside Pooran. Interestingly, both Munro and Pooran raised their fifties off 30 balls each. The duo had to slow down after bringing it down to run-a-ball as the Royals took pace off and bowled into the pitch. However, it was only a matter of time and once the drizzle started TKR stepped on the accelerator again. Chris Green, who was expected to have an impact with the ball had an off day as he got smashed for 48 runs in his 4 overs. Eathan Bosch bowled without luck as he made great use of cutters into the wicket. Ramon Simmonds was fairly impressive as well. But the Royals, unfortunately, stay at the bottom of the table having not won a single game thus far.

17.5

Simmonds to Pollard, 1 run, low full toss, clipped back to the bowler, who couldn't stop it in the followthrough and lets it roll to long-on. TKR win and jump to top of the table now

17.4

Simmonds to Pooran, 1 run, excellent yorker that made Pooran lose his footing, Pooran clips it to backward square leg

17.3

Simmonds to Pollard, 1 run, full toss, Pollard taps it to mid-off and sets off

17.2

Simmonds to Pooran, 1 run, slower delivery full and outside off stump, driven square to deep backward point

17.1

Simmonds to Pooran, no run, beaten for pace! Pooran was late on the flick-slog, ball hits the pad and goes down leg

Ramon Simmonds [3.0-0-24-1] is back into the attack

16.6

Warrican to Pooran, 1 run, full and wide of off stump, Pooran reaches out and slaps it hard to deep extra-cover

16.5

Warrican to Pollard, 1 run, Pollard flat-bats with a lot of power but they have long-on very straight now so cut off

16.4

Warrican to Pollard, no run, flatter delivery, Pollard dabs to backward point

16.3

Warrican to Pollard, SIX, now he needs only one more ball! Flighted delivery on the stumps, Pollard clears the front leg out of the way and goes baaangg over long-on

16.2

Warrican to Pollard, FOUR, now KP goes hard and drills the drive past extra-cover for four more. Was a fullish delivery, Pollard stayed leg-side off the ball and smacks it. Can he finish it off this over?

16.1

Warrican to Pollard, FOUR, shortish delivery on the leg stump, Pollard lofts off the back foot and hits it straight. Long-on is wide and he can't cut it off

Jomel Warrican [1.0-0-8-1] is back into the attack

15.6

Chris Green to Pooran, SIX, smashed! Full toss on the leg stump, Pooran gets under it and sends it soaring over long-on. Handy hit with the drizzle on. TKR will want to end this quickly

15.5

Chris Green to Pollard, 1 run, flighted delivery on the stumps, Pollard flicks to deep mid-wicket
