At 46, Imran Tahir has still got it. 'Age is just a number' they say and you wonder why when you witness players like Tahir in action. If you are looking for some early morning weekend motivation, look no further. And on that note, it's time to draw curtains on this game. Until next time, cheers and goodbye from Raju Peethala, Abhinav Guha and Venkatesh Av.
Imran Tahir | Player of the Match: I feel really proud (on receiving the award from Sir Viv Richards) and I'm gonna cherish that for a long time. We knew if we get to 170-180 we will be in the game. Things went well for me and the team. In T20 cricket you have to be on it from ball one and I always try to give my best and thanks for the Guyanese supporters. We stay together and we enjoy each other's success and that is the team culture we have. Hopefully we carry on the same way we started. We gel in really well and it was pleasure watching our batters step up. As a team, we try our best and put our body on the line and that is what I want as a captain, super proud of the boys especially with the fielding effort. I try to put the ball on line and length and obviously use my variations.
Imad Wasim: The intent was there, but we lost too many wickets and to be honest that was a Imran Tahir special. If we had the wickets, anything could have happened at the end. We need to learn from our mistakes and losing wickets in clusters always cost you games. We are a very good bowling unit and their batters played really well.
23:30 local, 03:30 GMT, 09:00 IST: 17, 18, 11, 12, 11, 8 - Runs off each of the first 6 overs during the run chase respectively. Absolutely ideal start you'd think, but things went downhill from thereon. Tahir got a wicket first ball after the powerplay and finished that over with a double-wicket maiden. He capped it off with a career best figures of 5/21 and that helped provide a huge boost to their NRR as well. The home team went too hard at the start, and then imploded after the powerplay. That said, it was their bowling that hurt them the most as they conceded 145 off the last 9 overs. Stick around for the post-match reactions...

Pretorius to Fabian Allen, no run, full and hits him on the back pad in front of middle stump, looked out and Allen took the review for obvious reasons. Even he didn't expect that he would survive...
Fabian Allen given out lbw! He walks off initially, but decides to review belatedly. That looks plumb, but did that pitch in line? That could be the only thing that could save Allen here...oh! Pitched outside leg

Tahir to Obed McCoy, out Bowled!! It's five for Imran Tahir. His best figures in CPL. Loopy full delivery on the stumps, McCoy had no clue about that. Tried to bring his bat down in time, but no luck. The ball dips teasingly and crashes into middle stump. Obed McCoy b Tahir 0(2)
