So that brings us to the end of this three-match Test series. Things could have been slightly different had India managed to hold onto their chances but they would like to credit Sri Lanka for the way they batted on the final day. The leader of the show was Dhananjaya de Silva who with his stellar hundred made sure that India weren't be able to get things done as easily as they would have thought/planned. In the end, Sri Lanka would be pleased with the way they finished the series, although they still lost it 0-1.

We will take a break now and we shall be back with all the action from the limited-overs series. Until then, goodnight.

And Niroshan Dickwella waves at the Sri Lankan dressing room, the signal has come.. Both teams have settled for a draw.. So, India fail to bowl the Lankans out even after having picked up three wickets by day end yesterday. Just two wickets down today. Did Sri Lanka pull off their best batting show too late in the Test series? Guess, yes!

Kohli has a quick word with the umpires, not sure why..

Btw, it is the beginning of the final hour now. Both captains can decide to settle for a draw. But will they? Sri Lanka still need 119 more to win, they might try to go for a few shots in the last half an hour. Safety first, surely. India continue with the same hope, "one wicket and things could change, etc"
