INDIA CLINCH SERIES 4-1
Live Cricket Score: India vs Australia, 5th ODI

It's all over! Kedar Jadhav and Manish Pandey embrace on the field, the rest of the Indian squad in the dugout as the five-match ODI series comes to a close with 4-1 in the hosts' favour. This win is down to yet another botched up batting show from Australia, particularly after the sort of the start they got. Once Rohit Sharma got going (after a protracted struggle at the start), there was only one way this fixture was headed. Australia didn't have enough score on the board to make anything of Adam Zampa's late double strike that denied Rohit and Virat Kohli the glory of finishing off the series. Australia should've done a lot better than they did in the series, particularly in Kolkata and Indore. But that's just how the series progressed and in the end, they finished as the second-best side in the series. India should be delighted with their results - and with the performances of the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya and their death bowling duo Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah. World Cup 2019 is still a long way to go, but this series forms as a good enough base for India to build on. That's all from us, good night!
Virat Kohli falls
Adam Zampa has picked two big wickets, but the strikes have come rather belatedly. Kohli went for glory and hit one down the throat of the long off fielder. India 227 for 3 in 39.4 overs
Adam Zampa has struck
A standing ovation for Rohit Sharma, who departs for 125 off 109 balls. He looks dejected but there's recognition from the opposition - probably the highest form of praise. He's done his job here as India are not very far away from completing the formality of another win.
ODI century #14 for Rohit Sharma
Who would've thought, after the sort of start that he had! Rohit Sharma has his arms up in the air to acknowledge his own ODI brilliance...and more so against Australia - he's smashed 9 centuries against them now. Exceptional batting from the opener, who has put India on course for a 4-1 series win here.
