Aaron Finch and Daniel Christian hit half-centuries to revive Victoria's second innings and stretch their lead to 454 on the fourth day of the Sheffield Shield final against South Australia, at the Traegar Park in Alice Springs on Wednesday (March 29). With just one day to go in the contest, the massive lead has puts Victoria on course for a third successive title.

Unlike the opening day, where the Victorian batsmen added runs a very brisk pace, the defending champions seemed in no hurry whatsoever in their second essay.
