Aaron Finch and Daniel Christian hit half-centuries to revive Victoria's second innings and stretch their lead to 454 on the fourth day of the Sheffield Shield final against South Australia, at the Traegar Park in Alice Springs on Wednesday (March 29). Unlike the opening day, where the Victorian batsmen added runs a very brisk pace, the defending champions seemed in no hurry whatsoever in their second essay. While the top order failed to make any substantial contributions, Finch (83) and Christian (53 not out) posted half-centuries to ensure Victoria have just enough on the board.
