India completed their first One Day International (ODI) series win at home in two years, beating New Zealand by 190 runs in the fifth and final ODI to clinch the series 3-2. After opting to bat, India posted a competitive total of 269 with half-centuries from Rohit Sharma (70) and Virat Kohli (65). New Zealand lost Martin Guptill in the first over of the run chase and eventually folded out for just 79. Legspinner Amit Mishra, who picked up 5 for 18, was adjudicated the Man of the Match and also bagged the Man of the Series award for his 15 wickets in the series.
