"I am always worried about the bowling, especially when we go out of India," was how Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India's limited-overs captain, started his answer when asked about the fresh bowlers in his side. In Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, India had an almost-all-new bowling line up compared to the One-Day Internationals. Jadeja was the only player to have featured in all five ODIs, while Pandya and Nehra only made it to the Twenty20 Internationals.

This attack's success, however, has Dhoni gleaming. India won the first two T20Is, in Adelaide and Melbourne, on the back of some good batting, backed up by some effective bowling. It's the bowlers we were searching for. And when it comes to the fast bowlers, Bumrah and Ashish have done a good job in the three games they have played. Hardik, as a package, is good. He is a very good fielder, and if he gives me the two overs I need, and the kind of batting he is known for - he looks like a good one to have as a third seamer."

The inclusion of seamers who can bowl to the captain's plans is something the team has longed for. The ODIs were a clear indication of India's terrible exploits with the ball, with Dhoni even going to the press to
