CPL round-up - Week 2 - Gayle storm, Lewis show, send-off and ouch moments

Chris Gayle began the week with back-to-back half-centuries for Jamaica Tallawahs, Barbados Tridents consolidated their top position on the points table while Devendra Bishoo's no-ball proved to be costly for Guyana Amazon Warriors, who were still languishing at the bottom while Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel registered their first win at the end of week two of Caribbean Premier League 2015.

Andre Fletcher, having amassed 284 runs in six matches for St Lucia Zouks, continued to top the run-getters chart while his team-mate Kevin Pietersen also came to the party with a half-century against Barbados. Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik who was selected in the Pakistan squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka, bid farewell to Barbados Tridents after scoring 209 runs in six matches. He was replaced by Misbah-ul-Haq in the Tridents squad.

Gayle was back in business and he helped Jamaica chase down a target of 118 against Zouks with 10 overs to spare with a blistering knock of 90 off only 36 deliveries, with the help of nine sixes and six fours.
