Andre Fletcher, having amassed 284 runs in six matches for St Lucia Zouks, continued to top the run-getters chart while his team-mate Kevin Pietersen also came to the party with a half-century against Barbados. Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik who was selected in the Pakistan squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka, bid farewell to Barbados Tridents after scoring 209 runs in six matches. He was replaced by Misbah-ul-Haq in the Tridents squad.

Gayle was back in business and he helped Jamaica chase down a target of 118 against Zouks with 10 overs to spare with a blistering knock of 90 off only 36 deliveries, with the help of nine sixes and six fours.
