The biggest game for both teams in IPL 2015. RCB and Rajasthan Royals have done well to get to the play-offs but this is a knockout game. The stakes are high. The pressure will be huge but both teams have been here before. They have enough experience in their ranks to carry them through these important games. Some of the best players in world cricket will be fighting it out. AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli and Steven Smith will be in the top few of any list made for best batsmen in cricket currently. Shane Watson and Chris Gayle are extremely dangerous in this format. Lots to play for and look forward to. Stay tunes. Toss and team updates coming up soon.

AB de Villiers was run out going for a quick second but if Rajasthan had thoughts of restricting RCB, it was blown to smithereens by Mandeep and Dinesh Karthik. The former got a well-deserved fifty with a six and a four off consecutive balls. RCB added 86 runs in the last 6 overs to power them to a very good total. The pressure of chasing a big total will double as this is an eliminator. RCB with the definite upper hand at the break.

Virat Kohli chose to unleash the Gayle-force straight up after winning the toss. His team's strength is undoubtedly their batting might and Kohli will be looking to put pressure on Rajasthan straightaway. Sreenath Aravind came back from injury and replaced Ashok Dinda. That was along expected lines. Rajasthan brought in Ankit Sharma for Barinder Sran, their only change.

Teams:

Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Ajinkya Rahane, Shane Watson, Steven Smith(c), Sanju Samson(w), Karun Nair, Deepak Hooda, James Faulkner, Stuart Binny, Chris Morris, Ankit Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Playing XI): Virat Kohli(c), Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Dinesh Karthik(w), Sarfaraz Khan, David Wiese, Mitchell Starc, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Sreenath Aravind

Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson have not tried anything stupid so far. The run-rate has been kept under check but Rajasthan need a bit of a base now. Rahane is looking to get his eye in and so is Samson. RCB won't mind it. They will be looking to create more pressure and have done a good job of it so far.

He's hit just one boundary in the first two overs but most of the shots have been off the middle of the bat. He's not found the gaps as well as he would have liked but is swinging the bat hard. Even an edge almost carried flat to third man. He survived a scare as well in the 2nd over when he was left stranded down the track going for a second. Sanju Samson picked up the throw and had a shy at the non-striker's end but missed by mere inches. Gayle could have been a goner!

Rajasthan have used four different bowlers so far but it has not got them a breakthrough yet. Looks like everyone is just bracing up for Gayle to go berserk. He's been lining up every delivery but credit to the RR bowlers for not giving him many in his slot. Can Gayle stay patient? Kohli is just looking to turn the strike over for right now.

There is some grass cover on the pitch and there is just a little bit of nip around for the bowlers. Watson got one to tail in sharply to Gayle while Morris had one shaping away. He played both of them quite well and got lucky against a Morris yorker, jamming it down and getting it past short fine leg for a boundary. RCB are going at just under 8 an over but Rajasthan will be worried that they haven't got a wicket yet in the first five overs.

Finally the breakthrough comes from Dhawal Kulkarni. Gayle was anxious to get a boundary and missed a length delivery after coming down the track. Departs bowled and RR will heave a sigh of relief.

Big wickets in successive overs for Dhawal Kulkarni. He was persisting with a slightly short of length delivery to Kohli. There is some bounce in the track and Kohli ends up chipping an attempted flick back to the bowler. RCB are in a spot of bother certainly. This does not look like a high scoring pitch at the moment.

Mandeep Singh is looking aggressive while ABD has been more circumspect. RCB need to get going soon. The quick wickets have allowed RR to slip in some quiet overs but we know that won't last long. Not when de Villiers is still out there.

had made 9/2 between overs 6 to 9. They needed a move on. Mandeep provides that, Dhawal goes for 13 in his final over vRR
