Kerala and Jharkhand registered their first wins of the season while Mumbai managed their second win as Round 8 of the Ranji Trophy 2014-15 came to a close on Sunday. Defending champions Karnataka gained three points after their match against Uttar Pradesh to consolidate their top position in Group A, while Delhi, despite suffering their first loss of the season, when they lost by an innings against Vidarbha on Day 3, continued to top the Group B table. Yet another strong showing from Assam saw them comfortably perched atop the Group C table.
