Outright results

Shreyas Gopal bagged a match haul of 10 while Shikhar Shetty picked up seven in the game as Karnataka thumped Chandigarh by an innings and 185 runs. Starting the day at 72/4 in their first innings, Chandigarh were bundled out for 222, despite Manan Vohra's fighting 106 not out, as Gopal finished with 7 for 73 while Shetty bagged a couple of wickets. Asked to follow on, Chandigarh got only 140 in their second innings as Shetty pocketed a five-wicket haul while Gopal accounted for three wickets.

Vicky Ostwal, Rajvardhan Hangargekar and Rajneesh Gurbani starred with the ball as Maharashtra registered a comprehensive win by an innings and 92 runs against Punjab. Starting the day at 125/4 in their first innings, Punjab ended up being skittled out for 151, losing their last six wickets for the addition of just 19 runs. Hangargekar bagged a five-wicket haul while Gurbani picked up four. Asked to follow on, Punjab got only 107 in their second essay as Ostwal ran through their batting order en route to a six-wicket haul.

Raj Choudhary's five-wicket haul and Shivam Chaudhary's three wickets powered Railways to victory by an innings and 117 runs against Tripura. Railways declared on their overnight total of 446/9 before bowling Tripura out for 193 in their second innings to wrap up the game inside three days.

Top batting performances

Abhishek Reddy's double ton and Karan Shinde's 94 helped Andhra bag a sizeable first-innings lead against Jharkhand. Starting the day at 224/2 in reply to Jharkhand's 328, Andhra rode on Reddy's 247 and Shinde's useful contribution to post 567/6 declared. Jharkhand ended the day at 34/2, trailing by 205.

Shahbaz Ahmed's 101 and Sumanta Gupta's 442 helped Bengal finish with 442 in their first innings as they took a hefty lead against Assam. Mohammed Shami then picked up a couple of wickets as Assam slipped to 8/3 before Denish Das (63*) and Sumit Ghadigaonkar (30*) took them to 98/3 at Stumps. Assam still need 144 runs to make Bengal bat again.

Swastik Samal's 169 and Subhranshu Senapati's 137 helped Odisha set a daunting target of 465 for Nagaland. Resuming at 16/2 in their second essay, Odisha rode on the twin tons to end their innings at 350/5 declared. Nagaland were 41/1 at Stumps.

Rinku Singh's 98 not out and Shivam Mavi's half-century kept Uttar Pradesh's fight going against Tamil Nadu. Starting the day at 87/1 in reply to Tamil Nadu's 455, Uttar Pradesh slipped to 191/5. Rinku and Mavi then got together and put on a 104-run stand for the sixth wicket. However, they still trail by 116 runs with four wickets left in their innings as Mavi fell late in the day.

Abdul Samad's 125 and Kanhaiya Wadhawan's 95, following a four-wicket haul for Abid Mushtaq, took Jammu & Kashmir closer to victory against Hyderabad. Starting the day at 275/4 in their second innings, Jammu & Kashmir finished with 422 to set Hyderabad a target of 472. The visitors were 169/7 in the chase.

Yash Rathod's 91 and Ravikumar Samarth's 45 helped Vidarbha set a target of 276 for Baroda. Starting the day at 126/3 in their second innings, Vidarbha finished with 272 thanks to the 128-run stand between Rathod and Samarth, even as Atit Sheth picked up a fifer. Darshan Nalkande then ran through Baroda's top order, picking up four wickets to leave the opposition at 73/5 at Stumps.

Patient knocks from Ankit Kalsi (118*) and Nikhil Gangta (77) kept Himachal Pradesh's innings afloat against Chhattisgarh. In reply to Chhattisgarh's 585, Himachal, who started the day at 37/1, finished at 274/4.

Top bowling performances

Yuvrajsinh Dodiya's six-wicket haul overshadowed Abhinav Tejrana's 118 and a fighting 69 from No. 10 Rajashekhar Harikant as Saurashtra picked up the first innings lead against Goa. Starting the day at 125/2 in reply to Saurashtra's 585, Goa were bowled out for 358. Saurashtra were 77/2 in their second innings at the end of the day's play.

Eden Apple Tom's four-wicket haul gave Kerala the first-innings lead against Madhya Pradesh. Starting the day at 155/6, Madhya Pradesh were skittled out for 192. Kerala then rode on unbeaten 80s from Sachin Baby and Baba Aparajith to finish the day at 226/3, leading by 315.

Three wickets apiece for Kukna Ajay Singh and Jaideep Singh, and two each for Aniket Choudhary and Ashok Sharma helped Rajasthan pick up a substantial first-innings lead against Delhi. Starting the day at 8/0, Delhi were bowled out for 296 as they conceded a lead of 274.
