

England left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone has suffered a minor injury to the joint next to her collar bone as revealed by an MRI scan. She will continue to be assessed ahead of the ICC Women's World Cup semi-final against South Africa scheduled to be played on Wednesday (October 29).
Despite the setback, the England cricket team are optimistic that she will be fit in time and shall feature in the clash.
"Results of an MRI scan on Sophie Ecclestone's left shoulder indicate a minor injury to the joint next to her collar bone. She will continue to be assessed ahead of Wednesday's ICC Women's World Cup semi-final against South Africa," the statement from the England and Wales Cricket Board read.
Ecclestone has played a pivotal role in England's journey to the semi-finals. She has picked up 12 wickets in 6 matches at an economy of 3.98, and is the fifth highest wicket-taker in this tournament tied with teammate Linsey Smith.
England finished second on the points table with 11 points in their kitty, having won five games and having shared points against Pakistan after a washout.
