

Outright results
Jammu and Kashmir took little time to nip out the final five wickets against Rajasthan on the third day to secure an innings win. Deepak Hooda offered little resistance and Deepak Chahar chipped in with an unbeaten 26 but the writing was always on the wall as Auqib Nabi added two more wickets to his tally to finish with a seven-fer.
In a low-scoring game at Rohtak, Haryana beat Tripura by 9 wickets. Even though Tripura fought back hard despite getting bowled out for 126 in their first innings, their batters folded in meek fashion in the second essay. Parth Vats picked up a five-fer to skittle out the opposition for just 47 as a result of which the home side needed just 16 to win.
Best batting performances
A swashbuckling double century from Prithvi Shaw put Maharashtra in command of their contest against Chandigarh. Shaw smashed 222 off just 156 deliveries in an innings where he hit 29 fours and five sixes. His stunning knock set Chandigarh 464 to win the contest. Even though they lost an early wicket, Manan Vohra has kept his team's hopes alive with a century stand by stumps. Chandigarh will need 335 runs on the final day for a win.
Yash Dhull cracked a whirlwind 70 to put Delhi firmly in control of their contest against Himachal Pradesh. Resuming at 165/3, Himachal added 132 more runs to concede a first innings lead of 133. However, they made a splendid start with the ball by reducing Delhi to 53/3 in the second essay. But Dhull slammed 70 off just 59 and Ayush Doseja also hit an unbeaten half-century as Delhi went into stumps with a huge lead of 329.
A stunning partnership for the sixth wicket has completely caught Tamil Nadu off-guard against Nagaland. Despite picking four early wickets, TN's bowlers continued to struggle. They picked up only one wicket on the third day as opener Dega Nischal continued to keep them at bay. He finished unbeaten on 161 off 350 whereas Imliwati Lemtur also smashed an unbeaten hundred to bring the deficit down to 147 by stumps.
Defending champions Vidarbha made a strong start in response to Jharkhand's 332. Opener Aman Mokhade hit a patient unbeaten 145 and was involved in a couple of century partnerships. As a result of his efforts, Vidarbha went into stumps trailing by just 93 runs and have eight wickets in hand.
An excellent performance from Saransh Jain with the bat ensured Madhya Pradesh took the crucial first innings lead against Saurashtra. MP crumbled initially when they resumed their innings on the third day as Jaydev Unadkat broke through the middle order even though Ravindra Jadeja remained wicketless. But from 203/7, Saransh was able to guide MP to 355/9 by stumps with an unbeaten 103 that has now given his side a lead of 95.
Best bowling performances
In another rain-affected day, Mumbai staged a fightback to pick up six wickets that has now put them on course to fetching the first innings lead. Once Mumbai got bowled out for 416, Chhattisgarh made a strong start and were 149/2 at one stage before Mumbai stormed back in style. Shams Mulani, Musheer Khan and Himanshu Singh picked two wickets each to reduce Chhattisgarh to 175/6 by stumps.
