Team and Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) officials confirmed to Cricbuzz that the GT net session went on for more than three hours, starting around 5.30 pm and lasting till about 9 pm. More vitally, a few foreign players including Kagiso Rabada and Sherfane Rutherford also attended the nets along with star India players like Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj among others.
"They were to disperse today but with the announcement of ceasefire and talk of an early resumption happening, they decided to stay on in Ahmedabad," said GCA and GT members, who were there at the nets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
