Even amid the continued uncertainty over the resumption of the suspended IPL 2025 season, the Gujarat Titans have taken the first step towards normalising the situation. The Shubman Gill-led side started practising for the rest of the season. They had a long nets session on Sunday (May 11) evening.

Team and Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) officials confirmed to Cricbuzz that the GT net session went on for more than three hours, starting around 5.30 pm and lasting till about 9 pm. More vitally, a few foreign players including Kagiso Rabada and Sherfane Rutherford also attended the nets along with star India players like Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj among others.
"They were to disperse today but with the announcement of ceasefire and talk of an early resumption happening, they decided to stay on in Ahmedabad," said GCA and GT members, who were there at the nets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
