Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials said on Thursday that spin consultant Mushtaq Ahmed is likely to get a two-year extension and continue in the same role.

Both parties are likely to put pen to paper on the deal soon as only minor adjustments are yet to be finalised.
A top BCB official confirmed the development to Cricbuzz adding that they are expecting him to work for 130 days a year in a different capacity with the board.
"He (Mushtaq) will act as the spin consultant of the board and he will not only work with national team, rather we would like to have his service in other areas as well to groom our spinners like the High Performance Unit and other programs," he said.
