Former Nepal captain Sandeep Lamichanne, who had been facing a lengthy imprisonment on a rape conviction, has been cleared on appeal today. Lamichanne's conviction, handed down by the Kathmandu District Court last year, was overturned by the Patan High Court today (Wednesday May 15).
