New Zealand beat England by 8 wickets and take the second Test and with that the series 1-0.It was coming and if the third day at Lord's wasn't washed out, New Zealand could've taken the series 2-0 given their dominance throughout the series. At Edgbaston, despite making six changes, they've outplayed England who seemed clueless. They had themselves to blame with the dropped catches and some poor batting in the second innings, but take nothing away from New Zealand, whose bowlers were outstanding. The bowlers did their job in the first innings as did the batsmen, setting up the game beautifully for a good finish. Although in their chase of 38 they lost two wickets, stand-in skipper Tom Latham hit the winning runs to take New Zealand to only theirthird series win in England, and the firstsince 1999. Hope you've enjoyed the cricket across the two Tests and are ready for the WTC final in a few days' time. Thank you for your company. Stay safe and goodbye!
