Shiran Fernando tests positive for COVID-19 ahead of opening ODI

The Bangladesh-Sri Lanka series will go ahead as scheduled despite Shiran Fernando testing positive for COVID-19. Cricbuzz understands Fernando hasn't shown any symptoms and will remain in isolation now.

Chaminda Vaas and Isuru Udana too had tested positive on the sample collected on May 18 but returned negative tests from the sample collected on May 22.
