Australia opener Marcus Harris has signed for Leicestershire ahead of the 2021 English domestic season. The 28-year-old will be available for the County Championship as well as the Royal London one-day Cup later this year.

Harris has had a steady Sheffield Shield campaign with Victoria, where he has scored 516 runs at 64.50. This includes a best of 239 in an opening wicket partnership of 486 with Will Pucovski against South Australia. That innings earned him a recall to Australia's XI for the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar series
