Mohammed Shami led the way with a three-fer as KXIP restricted Kolkata to a sub-par 149/9. Gayle and Mandeep then put on a century stand for the second wicket at 10 an over, after losing skipper KL Rahul in a watchful start to their chase.
With the victory, KXIP entered the top-half of the points table, swapping positions with their opponents
