Andrew Ellis, the 37-year old Canterbury all-rounder, has pulled the plug on his cricketing career. Ellis finishes his career as only the second player in New Zealand's history (after Todd Astle) to feature in at least 100 matches in all the three formats of the game. In a career that spanned 18 years, Ellis featured in 105 FC matches, 109 List-A games and 117 T20 matches.
