That's it! The first ODI between India and South Africa has been called off!This was coming given the loooooong wait and the temperamental rain. Amid the whole COVID-19 chaos it was rain that played spoilsport in Dharamsala today. No toss even was possible in the end.

It all began with the outfield still recovering from a heavy downpour yesterday that continued late into the night, delaying the toss initially. The sun snuck out briefly, promising a delayed start, but once rain began falling and gathered strength, there was little anyone or anything could do about it.
