Riley Meredith to Ingram, SIX, 22 off the over! Meredith has been given an absolute pasting by the beast Ingram. Fuller ball, in the slot and he just backs away for the loft over extra cover. Flat six and the Strikers are fired up here

Riley Meredith to Ingram, FOUR, when it's not your night, it's just not your night. Meredith bowled a good short ball here and Ingram was on the charge for the pull but only got a fat top edge. It flies straight over Wade to the fence. Just the over the Strikers were looking for, this is a massive momentum shift

Riley Meredith to Ingram, FOUR, 3 in a row! Poor from Meredith, bowls a half volley with mid-off in the ring and Ingram doesn't need any second invitation. Pumped over the infield down the ground

Riley Meredith to Ingram, FOUR, 50 for Ingram and he reaches there with another boundary! Picks his spot again, makes room and gets a full toss that he just chips over extra cover. Brilliant batting on a track where the others haven't got going

Riley Meredith to Ingram, FOUR, brilliant hit from Ingram, genius stuff really. Leg stump yorker but he somehow clears his front leg to propel this over square leg. Such strong wrists there from the skipper

Jofra Archer to Rashid Khan, out Caught by Riley Meredith!! No heroics from Rashid tonight. Gave the charge and made room for the loft but only got a slice towards sweeper cover. Meredith did the hard work by getting to it and took a tumbling catch off the rebound, it bobbled up for a while off his chest and he just about hung on. Ah, that was quite funny but I am sure the Hurricanes wouldn't have got the joke if he spilled it. Rashid Khan c Riley Meredith b Jofra Archer 2(3)

Faulkner to Wells, out Caught by D Arcy Short!! Faulkner breaks the partnership. Saw Wells premeditating the slog with a shuffle and he responds with a slower ball wider outside off. The result is a miscue that goes straight down the ground. Long-off and long-on both were interested, eventually the former takes it comfortably after calling for it. Another useful knock from Wells although he would have wanted to carry on till the end. Wells c D Arcy Short b Faulkner 28(26) [4s-2]

Faulkner to Wells, 1 run, direct hit and Wells was a goner! Rose has hit the target from there a few times but this time he doesn't. Full and outside off, Wells crunched this towards extra cover and they went for a risky single

Riley Meredith to Ingram, SIX, that's in the crowd, fetch that! Banged in short and Ingram just swivels to dump this pull over deep backward square leg. Shorter side of the ground, not that Ingram needs it to be short, he can clear the ground too if he wants
14.4
Clive Rose to Ingram, 1 run, gives the charge does Ingram and tries the whip-loft stroke but drags it off the inside edge to short fine leg who fumbles a tad

Jofra Archer to Ingram, FOUR, very full and wide, Ingram slices it away through the gap at backward point. Not that bad a ball but the width allowed the Strikers skipper to pounce on it

D Arcy Short to Ingram, FOUR, poor ball and Ingram puts it away. Fuller around leg stump, just sweeps it well and places it wide of short fine leg

Botha to Wells, FOUR, quality shot from Wells! Wow! Fired fuller outside off by Botha and it's crunched through the covers. Gets it well wide of sweeper

Botha to Ingram, SIX, hammered away! There is the release shot that the Strikers wanted. Fractionally short from Botha and it's bulldozed over deep mid-wicket by Ingram

Faulkner to Wells, FOUR, gee, he has hit this really hard! Down the track went Wells and got the shortened length in response, spanked hard to the deep point fence. Sweeper had hardly much ground to cover but could do nothing about it

Faulkner to Carey, out Caught by Botha! Big wicket as the well-set Carey has to depart. Never really got rolling today and departs in pursuit of the release shot. Didn't pick the slower ball and was a tad early on the loft. Skies it high towards deep mid-wicket where the catch is taken with ease by Botha who judged the skier with perfection. Carey c Botha b Faulkner 28(28) [4s-2]

Jofra Archer to Short, out Caught by McDermott!! Good catch by McDermott but it's Archer's pace that was created this wicket. Dug in short and Short was late on the pull. Only managed a fat top edge that flew towards deep mid-wicket where McDermott ran across to his left to take the catch. Short c McDermott b Jofra Archer 13(19) [6s-1]

Riley Meredith to Carey, FOUR, finds the gap! This was a really pacy length ball and Carey did the smart thing, just used the pace to get this through cover. Timed it really well

Clive Rose to Carey, FOUR, smart shot! More like it, Carey. Gets a flatter, fuller one and just chips it cleanly over mid-off. Should ease his nerves a bit, has looked very edgy so far

Faulkner to Short, SIX, super shot from Short! Intent as he charges down the track and chose the safest spot on the park - straight over the bowler's head. Gets enough to clear the ropes, just

Riley Meredith to Weatherald, out Caught by Jofra Archer!! Meredith draws first blood! Has been hustling the batsmen for pace and that's what does Weatherald here. Shortish and outside off, wanted to muscle the flat-batted stroke but got it off the cue end. Straight to Archer at a comfortable height at mid-off. Weatherald c Jofra Archer b Riley Meredith 4(6) [4s-1]

Faulkner to Weatherald, FOUR, crunched away! Delicious stroke from Weatherald, not all that full but his hands do the trick. Gets on top of the bounce and thumps it on the up through cover
