Flighted delivery on middle, Curran dances down the wicket and gives himself a bit of room, he wanted to go straight but ends up slicing it to long-off. Lakmal to Adil Rashid, FOUR, crunched! Short of a length outside off, Adil Rashid reaches for it and hammers it past the fielder at covers. Another round of applause for Rashid who's looking solid in this innings

Dananjaya to Sam Curran, 3 runs, that was a tough chance but Dhananjaya de Silva doesn't even get a hand to it. Very slow reflexes there. This was a sharp offbreak outside off, Sam Curran felt for it and got an outside edge. de Silva in the slips tries to grab it but he grabs only air. The ball rolls down to third man and they come back for three, 200 up for England and the crowd is up on their feet

Dananjaya to Adil Rashid, FOUR, England inch closer to 200. Makes room for himself and drives the tossed up delivery past Lakmat at covers. Good placement there, these are important runs Rashid is scoring

Was playing his reverse sweeps and sweeps so well in this knock, but it's the same shot that brings about his downfall. Tries to play the reverse sweep again, but ends up spooning it straight to the fielder at backward point as it was bowled much slower by the left-arm spinner. Good knock, nevertheless. Umpire Ravi nods his head and then lifts his finger, Foakes is walking off, that's a big wicket, the Galle centurion has been dismissed, he doesn't bother standing around once the decision was made, slightly unfortunate way to go. Went down low on the sweep, got an inside edge that brushed the pad and then lobbed off the back thigh, that meant it carried all the way to Dhananjaya at slip, who moved across to his left and completed the simple catch. The partnership was threatening to blossom, but it has been nipped in the bud. Hang on! Pushpakumara to Moeen Ali, out Lbw!! Loud shout for LBW and Sri Lanka will review, think this was sliding down the leg-side. It's a fair delivery, looks like no bat on that and UltraEdge confirms it. Onto Hawk-Eye now, impact is in front of leg-stump and it's hitting the leg-stump. OUT is the call. This is an excellent review from the hosts, high-fives in their camp as England lose their fifth wicket. Must confess I didn't see this coming, pushed through slower and spinning back into the left-hander, Moeen went back in his crease as he looked to whip and missed, struck pretty low and in front of leg-stump. They check if it is a clean catch, umpire Gaffaney needs a couple of replays to give his verdict, Dananjaya strikes in his first over. He beat the bat last delivery and this time the edge is found. Teased up around off, Burns has to play at that because of the angle, prods forward and looks to block, the ball spins and takes the outside edge to slip. Dhanajaya grabs it low to the ground. Pushpakumara to Root, out Bowled!! Pushpakumara cleans up Root. How did he miss that? Third time he's been dismissed by a left-arm spinner in the series. Twice to Herath in the first Test and now to Pushpakumara. Weakness? Tossed up delivery that goes on with the arm, Root prods forward to defend and there is a small gap between bat and pad, the ball kisses the inside edge and then brushes the pad before rolling onto the stumps. Pushpakumara is delighted and why wouldn't he be. Replacing the legend Herath and he's got the prized scalp of Root. Root b Pushpakumara 14(23) [4s-2]

Pushpakumara to Root, FOUR, now Root employs the sweep and succeeds. It was on the stumps and Root would have been in danger had he missed it, but he doesn't and brooms it away backward of square leg. No protection in the deep

Dilruwan Perera to Rory Burns, no run, oh! Exellent bit of work by Mendis. Burns tucks the slider to short leg and takes a step out, Mendis under the lid, gathers it with one hand and has a shy at the stumps. Burns was a goner as he was stretching himself back in the crease

Pushpakumara to Root, FOUR, wow! Root is going to take the positive approach. Dances down the wicket, gets to the pitch of the ball and slams it with utter disdain straight back over the bowler

Dilruwan Perera to Stokes, out Lbw!! An excellent delivery by Dilruwan. This was a sharp offbreak, pitching on middle and Stokes was forced on to his back foot. Tries to defend it but gets beaten due to the spin and the ball thuds into his back pad. Impact in line - hitting off. Can Lanka get a few more before lunch? Dilruwan Perera to Rory Burns, FOUR, Burns looking solid in this knock. Just his second Test and he's showing a lot of maturity, looking at the way he is playing against spin. Camps back and chops the shortish delivery through the gap at cover-point

Lakmal to Stokes, FOUR, sublime off-drive. Touch full around off, Stokes transfers his weight on to the front foot and creams it through mid-off. The fielder there was too square to stop this

Dilruwan Perera to Stokes, no run, appeal for an lbw, turned down! Sri Lanka have decided to review it though. Looked very close. A sharp offbreak around middle and Stokes looks to defend it off his back foot. He was pinned on the pads but there was a touch extra bounce, hence the replays confirm it to be hitting the top of middle. The umpire's call stays but Lanka don't lose the review either. Stokes lucky to be still out there!

Lakmal to Stokes, FOUR, just like Burns, even Stokes gets off the mark with a boundary. The shot very similar, too. This was tailing in sharply around middle and leg, Stokes covers the stumps and flicks it to perfection through square leg. Sublime timing on that shot takes it away to the fence

Lakmal to Jennings, out Caught by Dickwella!! The Lankan skipper strikes, that's what his job is. Pitches this one of a good length around off and Jennings feels for it, goes for a drive.
