Nandani Sharma to Beth Mooney, FOUR, Mooney puts this away to the right of deep mid-wicket and signs off on a high. Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Mooney rocks back and pulls, times it well and beats the fielder as well

Nandani Sharma to Beth Mooney, out Kashvee Gautam Run Out!! 1 run completed. Mooney mistimes the loft to long-on. Kashvee Gautam returns for the second. Should have been out by a mile had Nandani Sharma collected the throw clean. But Kashvee was so far out that even after a fumble Nandani had enough time to effect the runout. Kashvee Gautam run out (Jemimah Rodrigues/Nandani Sharma) 18(10) [4s-3]

Nandani Sharma to Kashvee Gautam, FOUR, in the airrr. Niki at deep mid-wicket makes a mess of it. She probably ran in too much and realized that it was clearing her. It was all too late as the ball landed inside the rope and escaped. Nandani Sharma isn't pleased. Slower delivery, Kashvee stepped out and mistimed the loft. Should have been caught but it's four
19
Chinelle Henry to Kashvee Gautam, 1 run, oh direct-hit would have been tight at the non-striker's end. Full delivery on the stumps, Kashvee pushes it to mid-off, quick single and both batters are safe in the end after having to stretch to get home

Chinelle Henry to Kashvee Gautam, FOUR, drilled down the ground! Full delivery in the slot, Kashvee lofts it over the ump's head and she beat both long-on and long-off quite comfortably
18.2
4
Chinelle Henry to Beth Mooney, FOUR, this is brilliant! It's full and outside off stump, Mooney stays leg-side and deliberately slices it over the infield over backward point. Third man was up too so it was always a four
18.1
F
Chinelle Henry to Beth Mooney, FOUR, finally Mooney gets one fine past the fine leg fielder. Leg-side line from Chinelle Henry, Mooney gets inside the line and helps it away for four and raises her second fifty of the season - both against DC and this one coming at a very crucial time
17.3
4
Nandani Sharma to Kashvee Gautam, FOUR, smart of Kashvee Gautam to get inside the line and help the sweep away fine past backward square leg. Slower delivery goes as a full toss, Kashvee manages to place it to the left of short fine leg

W
Chinelle Henry to Bharti Fulmali, out Caught&Bowled!! Nandani broke the game open with a double-strike in the 6th over. Now Chinelle Henry puts the brakes on the Giants again with two wickets in the same over when they were gaining momentum. Short of a length delivery from Chinelle Henry, Fulmali went back to pull but top-edged this towards short mid-wicket. Henry moved to the right and had that easily covered. Fulmali not being quick enough with the footwork again cost her the wicket. Bharti Fulmali c and b Chinelle Henry 0(2)

W
Chinelle Henry to Wareham, out Caught by Wolvaardt!! Full credit to the Capitals for having the sweeper at deep cover than a more conventional fielder close to deep point. Ball goes straight to her. Full and outside off stump, Wareham leans forward, looks to loft the drive, doesn't get enough power behind the shot and holed out. End of a crucial innings from Wareham. Played the aggressor in the 61-run stand. Wareham c Wolvaardt b Chinelle Henry 35(25) [4s-3 6s-1]

Shree Charani to Wareham, SIX, shot! The shot of the game so far. Flighted delivery from Shree Charani, Wareham stepped out, got to the pitch of the ball, lofted inside out through the line and over mid-off for a maximum
15.1
Shree Charani to Beth Mooney, 1 run, advances and looks to loft, ball hits the bottom of the bat and rolls to mid-on
14.1
4
Minnu Mani to Wareham, FOUR, swept away fine! Fine leg is inside the ring as well so this sweep through backward square leg escapes to the fence. Poor line from Minnu Mani - down the leg-side and punished
14
Nandani Sharma to Wareham, 1 run, full delivery on the stumps, Wareham works it to long-on
13.5
4
Nandani Sharma to Wareham, FOUR, oh again the slower ball doesn't bounce. Oopsy! Henry moved to the left when the ball was going to the right and that slip up allows this boundary. Nandani Sharma wasn't impressed. Wareham cut the ball, got this to spin away from the fielder as well
12.2
4
Marizanne Kapp to Wareham, FOUR, oh that's cheeky! Backed away to this length delivery and just opened the face last second to literally pick this ball off the stumps. Short third was inside so she found a big gap
11.1
4
Shree Charani to Beth Mooney, FOUR, advances and belts this down the ground. Full delivery on the stumps, Mooney steps out and lofts it over the bowler's head to get a boundary after 33 balls

W
Minnu Mani to Kanika Ahuja, out Stumped!! The move to send Kanika up hasn't worked. The Capitals are bossing the show tonight. Minnu Mani gave this a lot of flight and got it to turn away with bounce, which is why Kanika didn't connect with the slog after stepping out. Lee effected an easy stumping. Kanika Ahuja st Lizelle Lee b Minnu Mani 6(9)
6.2
Minnu Mani to Kanika Ahuja, 1 run, turning away, Kanika punches it back to mid-off
5.3
4
Nandani Sharma to Beth Mooney, FOUR, the use of the wrists to squeeze this between backward point and point. Wasn't a big gap but Mooney let this full ball come, used the width to get under it and split the fielders to perfection
5.2
W
Nandani Sharma to Ashleigh Gardner, out Caught by Sneh Rana!! Nandani Sharma is on a hat-trick and the Giants are in trouble. Is it going to be a fourth final for DC? Or is it too early? Ashleigh Gardner cannot believe her own eyes. Short of a length delivery moving away outside off stump, Gardner went hard for the cut shot, thick edge and that wide slip fielder coming in very handy now as it went straight to her. Jemi is running with her hands aloft. She knows this is a massive breakthrough. Ashleigh Gardner c Sneh Rana b Nandani Sharma 0(1)

W
Nandani Sharma to Anushka Sharma, out Caught by Chinelle Henry!! In the airrrr, taken brilliantly at mid-on. Nandani Sharma strikes first ball and Anushka will be livid with herself. Was a slot ball, was there to be put away, Anushka tries to flick on one leg. Backed herself to clear the infield but mistimed it. Henry had to dive forward and she took it just inches from the ground. Absolute delight on Nandani's face. Anushka Sharma c Chinelle Henry b Nandani Sharma 16(13) [4s-2]

4
Marizanne Kapp to Anushka Sharma, FOUR, the length is shorter this time so Anushka brings out the cut shot, slapped between point and cover and it's four more
4.2
4
Marizanne Kapp to Beth Mooney, leg byes, FOUR, oh lucky runs for the Giants. But Mooney is yet to connect with a glance tonight. Full and swinging down the leg-side, Mooney misses the shot, ball escapes off the legs and Lee had no chance
4.1
4
Marizanne Kapp to Beth Mooney, FOUR, crunchy! Absolutely creamed off the bat through cover. Full delivery outside off stump, Mooney leans forward and belts the shot from the middle of the bat

4
Chinelle Henry to Anushka Sharma, FOUR, edged and it flies over slip! Short of a length delivery moving away outside off stump, Anushka has a go at it, thick edge and it clears the infield. Chinelle Henry sports a big smile as she knows the batter got lucky
2.1
Marizanne Kapp to Beth Mooney, no run, that's the third time Mooney has missed a flick down the leg-side. Oh hang on, Mooney wants a review for a wide. The ball passes through within the wide reference point is the verdict from the third ump. What a waste of a review. Mooney is still not sure about it and has a word with the square leg ump for clarification. The ump explains that she moved inside the line from her original position and this ball passed within that zone. Coach Michael Klinger too isn't pleased on the sidelines and has a chat with the fourth ump

Chinelle Henry to Sophie Devine, out Caught by Lizelle Lee!! Edgeddd and a one-hander to delight the Capitals. Such a lovely smile from Lee after pouching this in front of first slip's face. DC have a gap between slip and the keeper and this edge was threatening to escape through. Fielder at slip moved to the right, Lee with the gloves on moved to the right, stretched her hand and it got stuck. Devine wanted to be aggressive in her stay and she tried to slash hard at this good length delivery, thick outside edge as a result of outswing and the Capitals have got a big wicket early. Sophie Devine c Lizelle Lee b Chinelle Henry 6(9) [4s-1]

Marizanne Kapp to Sophie Devine, FOUR, edgeddd and just over the leaping slip fielder! Short of a length delivery that jumps off the surface. Devine threw the hands hard at a cut shot, thick edge flies between slip and keeper as there is a big gap
