Peter Siddle to Riley Meredith, out Caught by Sam Harper!! They are on fire. One blinder after another. Kellaway, Maxwell and now Sam Harper. Three stunners in the last couple of overs. Short of length delivery, Meredith swings hard and gets a top-edge, the ball was flying over the keeper but Harper leaps up and plucks it out with his right hand. Riley Meredith c Sam Harper b Peter Siddle 1(2)

Peter Siddle to Rishad Hossain, FOUR, unlucky! Speared into the blockhole, the ball was heading for the base of middle-stump, but Hossain brings his bat down in the nick of time and squeezes it off the inside edge to fine leg. That wasn't far from the leg-stump..

Peter Siddle to Matthew Wade, out Caught by Maxwell!! That's just ridiculous. How easy he made that look. Yes, he's taken such catches before and even tougher ones, but still.. To do it so nonchalantly is incredible. Wade charges down, converts it into a length delivery and swings through the line, gets a good connection and the ball seemed to be sailing over long-on before Maxwell intervened. He jumps up and takes the catch beyond the rope, throws the ball up whilst being in the air and then comes back in to complete the catch. The third umpire has a look and a couple of replays are enough to conclude it was a fair catch. Matthew Wade c Maxwell b Peter Siddle 11(7) [4s-1]

W
Haris Rauf to Nathan Ellis, out Caught by Campbell Kellaway!! Excellent catch by Kellaway. Ellis hangs around but Stoinis gives the thumbs up. 144ks full delivery angled in, Ellis backs away and checks his shot, chips it towards mid-off and the ball was dying in front of Kellaway, he dives forward and scoops it centimeters above the ground. Rauf is on a hat-trick. Nathan Ellis c Campbell Kellaway b Haris Rauf 0(1)

W
Haris Rauf to Chris Jordan, out Caught by Campbell Kellaway!! Rauf has the last say. This is a well-disguised slower ball and Jordan did not pick it, he was through the shot early and offers a simple catch to Kellaway at mid-off. Hurricanes are losing their way at the back end of the innings. Chris Jordan c Campbell Kellaway b Haris Rauf 7(6) [4s-1]

4
Haris Rauf to Chris Jordan, FOUR, fraction short and Jordan is quick to latch on, he swivels around and nails the pull in front of square. Hurricanes need plenty more of this in the final 9 balls

W
Stoinis to Ben McDermott, out Caught by Mitchell Swepson!! Big wicket for the Stars. The set batter is gone with 16 balls left. McDermott seemed tired. Slower ball outside off, he reaches and does not get it off the middle, miscues it towards long-off and Swepson settles under to take the catch. A good knock comes to an end. Ben McDermott c Mitchell Swepson b Stoinis 69(52) [4s-5 6s-2]

W
Peter Siddle to Tim David, out Caught by Thomas Rogers!! Siddle strikes! This is a massive wicket. With less than 5 overs to go, David is gone and he looks at the base of his bat. This is a short of length delivery, no room on offer and David is cramped for room, does not middle the pull and hits it towards deep square leg, Rogers bends down and takes it low to the ground. A very unlike David knock comes to an end. Tim David c Thomas Rogers b Peter Siddle 31(31) [4s-2]

Peter Siddle to Tim David, FOUR, hammered! He almost took out Siddle. Full and at the stumps, David clears his front leg and drills it straight down the ground. Siddle did well to not get in the way..

Mitchell Swepson to Ben McDermott, SIX, that's more like it. They need to step on the gas. McDermott runs down the pitch, gives himself room and pumps it over long-off

Stoinis to Ben McDermott, 2 runs, dropped! Tough chance and Rogers can't hold on. Fifty for McDermott. Not a fluent knock but he's still out there. David walks across to congratulate him. Full delivery on the pads, McDermott whips it towards deep mid-wicket and Rogers runs to his left, dives and holds on with both hands but the ball pops out when he hit the ground

Mitchell Swepson to Ben McDermott, 3 runs, googly that's dragged short, McDermott rocks back and under-edges the pull through his legs. Long chase for Rauf and he manages to haul it in before the rope

Stoinis strikes with his second ball! 127.2ks full delivery, angled in and Chaudhary closes the bat face as he attempts to flick, gets a leading edge and the ball goes straight up, Kellaway moves from mid-wicket to mid-on and takes a good catch. Nikhil Chaudhary c Campbell Kellaway b Stoinis 7(10)

Haris Rauf to Ben McDermott, FOUR, poor first delivery and Rauf concedes a boundary. Slanting down leg and at his pace, McDermott just needed to get some bat, which he does and the ball races to fine leg

Tom Curran to Rehan Ahmed, out Caught by Sam Harper!! Poor from Rehan. He's not only gone off the first ball of Curran's over but also taken a review with him. The ploy to promote him up the order hasn't worked. Full and outside off, Rehan charges down and gives himself room, reaches for the big shot and gets a thin outside edge. Sam Harper was confident and so were the others. But Rehan still challenged the onfield call and lost his side a review. Perfect start for the Stars.. 2 wickets in 7 balls. Rehan Ahmed c Sam Harper b Tom Curran 1(3)

W
Maxwell to Mitchell Owen, out Caught by Hilton Cartwright!! Immediate amends for Cartwright. He's pumped. Maxwell has struck in the first over. The move to open with him has paid off. This is flighted and gets it to drop on the batter, Owen heaves it more squarer this time and Cartwright runs forward to his right, bends down and takes it safely. Owen could not quite get under the length and just went through with the slog. Mitchell Owen c Hilton Cartwright b Maxwell 8(4) [6s-1]

Maxwell to Mitchell Owen, 2 runs, dropped! Cartwright puts down a sitter. Owen is not going to back out. He sees a flatter delivery in his zone and heaves it into the leg-side. Cartwright moves to his left from deep mid-wicket, settles under it and goes reverse cup but fails to hang on. There was a fielder at long-on but Cartwright called for it and dropped a regulation catch
