Taijul Islam to Muzarabani, out Caught by Jaker Ali!! Muzarabani is gone first ball on day 2. That was a lame waft outside off and he got a faint edge on it.That was floated outside off, harmless delivery but the batter chased it and edged it. The keeper went up and the skipper showed confidence in the appeal and opted to review it after the umpire was unmoved. The third umpire picked up the edge on UltraEdge and Muzarabani had to march off alongside Tafadzwa Tsiga. Only 227 for the visitors, clearly not enough. Muzarabani c Jaker Ali b Taijul Islam 2(16)

4
Hasan Mahmud to Tafadzwa Tsiga, FOUR, angled in, short of length delivery, Tafadzwa Tsiga gets on top of the bounce and pulls it down wide of the man at square leg for a four. That was well timed and placed

W
Taijul Islam to Nick Welch, out Bowled!! And this stay has been cut short. Never easy to come in and find the same mojo again. Was a tossed up dl, Nick Welch looked to slog sweep and missed the line of the delivery to be clean bowled. Fifer for Taijul Islam. Slowed it down, tossed up, Nick Welch wanted to play the big shot but in vain. Welch would be gutted. Nick Welch b Taijul Islam 54(133) [4s-3 6s-2]

W
Taijul Islam to Tafadzwa Tsiga, out Vincent Masekesa Run Out!! 1 run completed. He is gone by a mile. That was played away down to the on-side and hey tried to come back for a second. There was never a second there. He dived but was miles short. 8th one down. The third umpire was called in just for the sake of formality. The batter jumped out and clipped it down to deep mid. Vincent Masekesa stuttered and that posed the problems. Vincent Masekesa run out (Mehidy Hasan Miraz/Taijul Islam) 8(14) [4s-1]

W
Taijul Islam to Ngarava, out Bowled!! Bangladesh making a superb comeback. 7th one down. Taijul Islam is on a hat-trick. Flatter one, enough turn, the batter gets the bat down but was late on it. The ball evaded the outer-edge and thuds into the sticks. Fourth strike for Taijul Islam and Zimbabwe are falling like ninepins now. Welch will come in now? Else it might just finish off very quickly. The hosts and their spinners coming to the party and how. Taijul Islam tried to cover the line of the delivery but failed to wood it. Ngarava b Taijul Islam 0(1)
80.4
W
Taijul Islam to Wellington Masakadza, out Lbw!! Umpire Richard Illingworth got it spot on. Another one falls. Zimbabwe are 6 down for 206 now. That was a flatter delivery, the skid off the wicket aided the bowler. And the batter was late to get the bat down. The new ball has certainly helped. There was enough turn on it and Wellington Masakadza missed the tuck. The bowler went up and the finger went up pretty quickly as well. Wellington Masakadza lbw b Taijul Islam 6(9) [6s-1]
80.3
6
Taijul Islam to Wellington Masakadza, SIX, and bang! In the slot, Wellington Masakadza gets under it and swipes across the line to send it over deep mid for a sixer. Huge hit indeed

W
Taijul Islam to Madhevere, out Caught by Jaker Ali!! That's a peach of a delivery and a great catch as well. That landed on leg, turned enough, took the edge and the keeper managed to grab it. Excellent take indeed. The solid Madhevere is gone. Needed a good ball to his wicket. The second new ball should be due soon and Zimbabwe have lost their fifth wicket. That did rip away to take the edge. Madhevere c Jaker Ali b Taijul Islam 15(32) [4s-2]
77.5
Nayeem Hasan to Madhevere, 1 run, walks into the shot, clips the ball wide of the man at short mid. They get a single. 200 up for the visitors

4
Taijul Islam to Tafadzwa Tsiga, FOUR, and now Tafadzwa Tsiga plays it off the pads. Fuller one on the pads, Tafadzwa Tsiga clips it against the spin and gets it wide of the man at mid-on. The length allowed him to play against the turn as that was too full. Well placed by the keeper batter
76
4
Nayeem Hasan to Madhevere, FOUR, and breaks the shackles a little. Very full, outside off, Madhevere reaches out for it and slaps the drive wide of cover for a four. Lovely timing and placement from Madhevere

4
Nayeem Hasan to Madhevere, FOUR, charges down the track and drives the ball down to beat the man at cover. That was sweetly timed. He was superb in the second innings of the previous Test. He had soaked up all the pressure and needs to do the same today
69.2
W
Nayeem Hasan to Williams, out Caught by Tanzim Hasan Sakib !! Oh dear! Williams is right on his haunches, fought so hard, battled cramps and has been dismissed in a very soft fashion - was a hit-me ball, full and down leg and Williams went hard on the sweep, hit it in the air and in the vicinity of backward square leg. Tanzim leapt across with both hands, grabbed a stunner and ensured that it didn't drop out when he hit the ground. All of a sudden, Zimbabwe have lost four wickets now. Williams c Tanzim Hasan Sakib b Nayeem Hasan 67(166) [4s-7 6s-1]
67.3

Nayeem Hasan to Ervine, out Caught by Jaker Ali!! There's the wicket, Nayeem has been rewarded for his perseverence, dropped short and wide of off, the cut was on, but the ball didn't bounce as much as Ervine expected, he made room on the cut and gets a thin bottom edge, Jaker Ali doing well to stay with the ball and pouches a clean catch. Bangladesh needed this wicket, this pairt were just beginning to settle. Ervine c Jaker Ali b Nayeem Hasan 5(31) [4s-1]
66.2
6
Mehidy Hasan Miraz to Williams, SIX, hammered, he might've been struggling with cramps, but Williams doesn't miss out on scoring chances, tad too full from Mehidy, right in the slot and Williams swings through the line, clears mid-on with ease and sails over the ropes
65.4

48.4
4
Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Williams, FOUR, short ball, outside off, rears up, Williams gets on to his toes and pats the ball wide of the man at gully for a four. That was well controlled by the southpaw. He moves to 47. Bangladesh bowlers continue to leak runs

F
Taijul Islam to Nick Welch, 2 runs, flatter one, outside off, the batter treks back and outer-halves the punch wide of the man at point for a couple of runs. Fifty for Welch. Has been a solid knock. He has mixed caution with aggression very nicely so far

25.5
4
Nayeem Hasan to Nick Welch, FOUR, flatter one, outside off, the batter brings out the reverse and slaps it behind square for a four. The man at sweeper cover had no chance to his left. 22.3
4
Taijul Islam to Williams, FOUR, tossed up delivery, Williams goes for the slog sweep and heaves it. Just beats the man at deep backward square
20.2
Taijul Islam to Nick Welch, no run, arm ball, skidded on and I guess the batter inside edged the ball on to the pads. The third umpire didn't find any conclusive evidence to overturn the original call of not out. That didn't spin in much and the inside edge went through the legs of the keeper. The spinners now putting pressure
18.2
W
Taijul Islam to Ben Curran, out Bowled!! One shot too many! The leg pole has been pegged back. The ball turned in a little, more skid, Ben Curran backed away to slap it and inside edged the ball on to the leg pole. Huge wicket for Bangladesh as Ben Curran was looking good for a long haul. But has thrown it away here. Taijul Islam strikes in his first over. Not the best ball he will bowl today but he will take it. The little variation in pace helped the bowler. Ben Curran b Taijul Islam 21(50) [4s-2 6s-1]

6
Mehidy Hasan Miraz to Nick Welch, SIX, tossed up delivery, at the sticks, Nick Welch sits down and takes the aerial route over deep mid. That was hit with a lot of timing and clears the fence with elan. Good blow to end the over. They are not letting any bowler to settle down. Zimbabwe keen to make a statement here. That ball turned in, in his radar and he slog swept it hard
16.5
4
Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Nick Welch, FOUR, short ball, outside off, the batter fetches it and pulls that in front of square. The ball is sitting up so well for the batters now. There was a man at deep square and Nick Welch managed to play it well to the left of the fielder
16.3
6
Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Nick Welch, SIX, 131.5 kph, dug in short, doesn't climb up much and has been pulled over deep square for a sixer. That was a flat hit and well over the fence. He timed it so well. Picked the length quickly

13.1
Mehidy Hasan Miraz to Nick Welch, no run, tossed up delivery, lands, dips a little, Nick Welch goes for the reverse and gets away with it. He was given out but was reversed as there was no bat on it. Was an audacious shot indeed after the drinks. But he knew he hadn't edged it and took the review immediately
10.3
W
Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Brian Bennett, out Caught by Jaker Ali!! Edged and caught! Almost a replica of his dismissal in the first innings in Sylhet. A maiden Test wicket for Tanzid and he's chuffed to bits. Have to say he's deserved this wicket - back of a length and angling across the right-hander, too close to cut and Bennett does so with hard hands, gets a thick edge and Jaker does the rest after moving to his right. Brian Bennett c Jaker Ali b Tanzim Hasan Sakib 21(33) [4s-5]

7.2
Mehidy Hasan Miraz to Ben Curran, no run, edged and dropped, that's a sitter and Shadman has put it down at slip, it doesn't come easier than that - nicley tossed up on off, drifted in and then held its line, brought Curran forward and found the edge, went at a very good height and Shadman makes a mess of it
6.4

4
Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Brian Bennett, FOUR, streaky and four, fuller length delivery and nipping back into the right-hander - Bennett's feet went nowhere, dragegd himself into the drive, didn't cover for the movement, went with hard hands and the thick inside edge squirted past the leg-stump
