Eshan Malinga to Stubbs, FOUR, one rare slot ball to end the innings. Fuller ball, angled in, Stubbs got the freedom and whipped it wide of the man at long-on for a four. DC end with 133

Eshan Malinga to Mitchell Starc, 1 run, and just a single. Brilliant stuff from SRH. Their bowlers have barely missed the mark. Using the home conditions very well for a change. The bowler got to the delivery on the off-side and had a shy at the bowler's end but missed. Starc was gone by a mile in case of a direct hit but wasn't to be after he stabbed it out into the off-side

Eshan Malinga to Ashutosh Sharma, out Caught by Abhinav Manohar!! A good knock comes to an end. He has given DC something to play with. Was banged in, Ashutosh Sharma looked to fetch that from outside off and pull it but found the man at deep mid. The ball went very high but never went far. The man in the deep positioned himself well and took an easy catch. Eshan Malinga gets his first wicket. He has been tough to get away. Sharma would have loved to finish with a couple of big shots but not to be. Ashutosh Sharma c Abhinav Manohar b Eshan Malinga 41(26) [4s-2 6s-3]

Harshal Patel to Ashutosh Sharma, SIX, muscled! Six more. DC finishing on a high here. The two batters have a better hang of the wicket now. Was a length delivery outside off and Ashutosh Sharma used all his muscles to send it over the bowler's head. Good strong hit as he stayed rooted to his crease to get under the ball

Eshan Malinga to Stubbs, FOUR, Stubbs finding an upper gear, finally. Over ends with a four. DC can eye 140 for sure. Given there deplorable condition at the 10 over mark, they will take anything in these last two overs. Was a low full toss, Stubbs backed away and punched it wide of the man at cover. The man at sweeper cover had no chance as the ball kept drifting away from him

Eshan Malinga to Stubbs, FOUR, short ball, angled in, Stubbs pulled down and played wide of the man at deep mid for a four. Lovely shot indeed. The fielder at deep mid dived to his right but failed to stop it

Harshal Patel to Ashutosh Sharma, FOUR, four more. Mid-off was in. Fuller ball, angled in, Ashutosh Sharma got under the ball and got the elevation to whip the ball over mid-off. Good hit indeed by the right-hander. DC getting some sort of a flourish at the end

Harshal Patel to Ashutosh Sharma, FOUR, 100 up! Ashutosh Sharma playing a gem here. Four welcome runs. Back of a length, pace on delivery and Ashutosh Sharma managed to get hold of that delivery and punched it wide of the man at point for a four. Played it uppishly but in the gap

Zeeshan Ansari to Ashutosh Sharma, SIX, charges down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball again and slams it down the ground to send it miles over the man at long-on. Superb batting from Sharma. Second sixer for him

Zeeshan Ansari to Ashutosh Sharma, SIX, and massive! Sixer from Sharma. First of the evening for him. Danced out, got to the pitch of the ball and lofted it over long-on. That was a clean hit. DC need plenty of these

Zeeshan Ansari to Stubbs, out Vipraj Nigam Run Out!! 1 run completed. Stubbs completed 2 runs. Nigam only one and stayed put at the batter's end but saw the more experienced Stubbs go past him. Complete discord in running and Vipraj Nigam has to pay the price. Stubbs nudged it off the pads and was sure of the two. Nigam barely responded. In the end, both batters were shaking hands at one end. DC's evening continues to be horrific. 6th wicket down. The third umpire did check as to which batter was supposed to be out and it was indeed Vipraj Nigam who had to go as Stubbs crossed him at the batter's end with the bails being whipped at the bowler's end. Was a good throw to the bowler's end but didn't matter much as Nigam wasn't in the frame. Vipraj Nigam run out (Aniket Verma/Zeeshan Ansari) 18(17) [4s-1 6s-1]

Harshal Patel to Stubbs, FOUR, low full toss, slower, down leg, the batter helps it on its way down to fine leg for a four. Was played away well

Zeeshan Ansari to Vipraj Nigam, FOUR, streaky! Length delivery outside off, was the googly, Vipraj Nigam went right back and across his stumps looking to punch it into the off-side and got a thick outside edge, just enough to beat the keeper and it run down to the ropes, 10 runs off that over, by far the biggest for the Capitals

Zeeshan Ansari to Vipraj Nigam, SIX, there's the first maximum of the evening! Dragged down short on middle, Vipraj Nigam pressed back and dispatched it over the deep mid-wicket ropes, boy did DC need that badly

Unadkat to Rahul, out Caught by Ishan Kishan!! Edged and gone! No heroic rescue act from KL Rahul tonight! Unadkat has made sure of that. Full and angling into off-stump from round the wicket, hit the deck and moved away ever so slightly, Rahul was caught in his crease trying to drive on the up and it took a healthy outside edge, flew quick and low to Ishan Kishan's right and he was quick to pouch this. Half the side gone inside 8 overs, it's a sorry picture if you're a DC fan. Rahul c Ishan Kishan b Unadkat 10(14) [4s-1]

Harshal Patel to Axar, out Caught by Cummins!! In the air and taken! This DC ship seems to be going down in a hurry! Full and wide outside off, took a bit of pace off and Axar was through his shot far too early as he was looking to carve it over extra cover, bottom-hand came off and he just spooned it up in the air. Cummins involved again as he moved back and a few paces to his right from mid-off to take it quite easily in the end. DC have now lost FOUR WICKETS in the powerplay! Alarm bells blaring everywhere. Axar c Cummins b Harshal Patel 6(7) [4s-1]

Harshal Patel to Rahul, FOUR, that's a beautiful shot! Good length delivery just outside off, gentle pace, Rahul prods forward and drives it on the up, absolutely creams it through the gap and it finds the extra cover ropes

Cummins to Axar, FOUR, Axar is off and running with a boundary! First time Cummins leaves that back of a length area and he gets punished, this is a low full-toss on middle, Axar is awake enough to just push it back gently and it races back down the ground

Cummins to Abishek Porel, out Caught by Ishan Kishan!! First ball of the third over too? Why not! Another man departs to c Ishan Kishan and b Cummins! Not the first time Abishek Porel has been dismissed in this fashion, was a good length delivery just down leg, Abishek Porel looked to pick it up and flick it - a shot he plays well but also one that leads to his downfall quite often, it takes the leading edge and shoots straight up in the air. Kishan calls for it early and covers good ground to reach the square leg region before gobbling it up safely. Dream start for SRH. Abishek Porel c Ishan Kishan b Cummins 8(10) [4s-1]

Cummins to Abishek Porel, FOUR, there's the first boundary! Length delivery on middle-leg, strayed into the pads just a touch and Abishek Porel absolutely loves it there, he picked it up off his pads and sent it packing to the deep square leg ropes

Cummins to du Plessis, out Caught by Ishan Kishan!! He's got another one! First ball of the first over and now the first ball of the second over as well! Cummins is on fire and the crowd is loving it. Short of a length on middle-leg, angling into the batter who looked to free his arms by making room, du Plessis tried heaving it across the line again and could only manage a faint nick through to the keeper. Two in the powerplay for Cummins and SRH. du Plessis c Ishan Kishan b Cummins 3(8)

Cummins to Karun Nair, out Caught by Ishan Kishan!! A thunderous roar rings around the stadium! Pat Cummins strikes first ball and Karun Nair walks back for a golden duck! Good length delivery outside off, Karun Nair stood rooted to his crease and had a loose waft at it. Took a little feather on its way through and Ishan Kishan made no mistake. Fantastic start for the Sunrisers, the new opening combination hasn't quite worked for DC. Karun Nair c Ishan Kishan b Cummins 0(1)
