Vaibhav Arora to Bartlett, out Bartlett Run Out!! 1 run completed. Where was Bartlett going? A total brainfade as he leaves for the second run even as the throw is coming in from the deep. And that pretty much sums it all up for the Punjab Kings who have been bowled out for 111. Good length on middle, he makes room and drives hard to long-on. They both seemed to have settled for the single but then Bartlett turned around and ran for some reason, only to be turned down by Arshdeep. He had no chance of making it back. Bartlett run out (Venkatesh Iyer/Vaibhav Arora) 11(15) [4s-1]

Vaibhav Arora to Shashank Singh, out Lbw!! This looks very close and the finger has gone up. Shashank has no choice but to review. No point saving it now. It's a good length ball angling back in, he gets forward to push it down the ground but is beaten on the inside edge. Gets hit on the knee-roll in front of middle, and ball-tracking says it would've crashed into leg. Shashank Singh lbw b Vaibhav Arora 18(17) [4s-1 6s-1]

Nortje to Bartlett, FOUR, top-edge flies for six! Short of length delivery angled into Bartlett as he makes some room. He swings hard on the pull, isn't in any control but the pace of Nortje takes it all the way

Varun Chakaravarthy to Shashank Singh, SIX, full and wide outside off, Shashank reaches out and creams it over extra cover! Was the legbreak from Chakaravarthy but the control wasn't there from him. Way too full and quite wide too

Narine to Marco Jansen, out Bowled!! Jansen dances down the pitch and gets yorked! Would you believe it, they've lost another! He got way too close to the pitch of it, tried working it through the on-side but missed it completely. It crashes into off stump and the tall allrounder has to depart. Marco Jansen b Narine 1(2)

Narine to Shashank Singh, FOUR, slog-swept high in the air, and a difficult catch has been put down by Rinku! Full around off, he gets low and hoists it over midwicket. Got a lot of height but didn't get enough bat to clear the ropes. Rinku charges across to his left in the deep, just about gets there with both hands but fails to hold on

Narine to Suryansh Shedge, out Caught by de Kock!! Even a loosener produces a wicket as Punjab Kings sink further! Short and wide outside off, Shedge looks to cut but only manages an edge through to the keeper who makes no mistake. The impact sub doesn't come off and it's looking rather glum for the hosts. Suryansh Shedge c de Kock b Narine 4(4)

Varun Chakaravarthy to Maxwell, out Bowled!! The googly from Varun Chakaravarthy. Maxwell didn't pick it at all. Was on the back foot looking to force it through the off-side, but the ball spun in sharply to hit the top of middle and off. Yet another failure with the bat for Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell b Varun Chakaravarthy 7(10) [4s-1]

Nortje to Nehal Wadhera, out Caught by Venkatesh Iyer!! "He has been working hard on his game and I am really looking forward to see him bowl tonight," were the exact words from skipper Rahane at the toss when asked about the inclusion of Nortje. He can be frustrating at times, but pace makes you do crazy things. Nehal Wadhera got back-to-back boundaries and felt really comfortable facing Nortje, but here is the catch. Nortje cramped Wadhera for room although the length was on the shorter side. The ball arrived a tad quicker than anticipated and Wadhera ended up skewing the leading edge to deep square. He shaped up to play a whippy flick, but couldn't get the desired timing on it. Half the side back in the hutch now. Nehal Wadhera c Venkatesh Iyer b Nortje 10(9) [4s-2]

Nortje to Nehal Wadhera, FOUR, once again it is the pace that is working in favour of the batter. Good length on off, Wadhera whips it over mid-wicket and the timing was good enough to find the fence

Nortje to Nehal Wadhera, FOUR, pace is your ally and pace is your enemy. Short and wide of off stump, Wadhera slaps and gets the ball flying past the superman-like dive from Ramandeep to his left

Harshit Rana to Maxwell, FOUR, what timing! 139ks back of a length outside off, Maxwell opens the bat face really late and crunches this off the meat of the blade past backward point, the timing on the ball takes care of the rest....

Harshit Rana to Prabhsimran, out Caught by Ramandeep Singh!! Harshit Rana is all over Punjab Kings like a rash. It is Ramandeep Singh once again. The ball is following him like a magnet. 140ks length ball wide of off stump. Prabhsimran goes hard and slices the cut straight to backward point. He got two sixes in the over and could have decided to play this safe, but that is not how moden T20 works, ain't it? Prabhsimran c Ramandeep Singh b Harshit Rana 30(15) [4s-2 6s-3]

Harshit Rana to Prabhsimran, SIX, no pace no problem says Prabhsimran. He creates his own pace by dancing down the wicket, meeting the ball on a fuller length and clubbing it over long-off for a 76-metre maximum

Harshit Rana to Prabhsimran, SIX, neat! 135ks banged in short outside off, Prabhsimran sits deep inside the crease and uses the pace on offer to ramp it over third man for a mighty maximum

Varun Chakaravarthy to Josh Inglis, out Bowled!! Ricky Ponting, the head coach, looks a worried man. 3 down inside the powerplay. Poor shot-selection from Josh Inglis. He decided to sweep this ball no matter the variation. Varun Chakaravarthy pulled the length back by a touch and got the ball to skid off and beat the swinging blade on the under edge. You miss, I hit. Hits the middle of middle. Ah, that hurts! Josh Inglis b Varun Chakaravarthy 2(6)

Harshit Rana to Shreyas Iyer, out Caught by Ramandeep Singh !! Ramandeep you beauty. Stunned silence in new Chandigarh. Plenty of width outside off, Shreyas Iyer sensed an opportunity to free his arms and belt it over covers, but he fails to keep it down in the process. Slices it off the thick outside half really flat and Ramandeep takes a stunner at deep backward point. He was placed at a square third man position to be precise. Saw the ball coming towards him and realised that it was going to dip. Put in a full length head-first dive and grabbed the ball inches above the turf. Not a happy outing for skipper Iyer against his old franchise. Shreyas Iyer c Ramandeep Singh b Harshit Rana 0(2)

Harshit Rana to Priyansh Arya, out Caught by Ramandeep Singh !! Six and out. Harshit Rana has the last laugh. He hit a similar delivery for a six against Pat Cummins in Hyderabad but not on this occasion. It was a proper gimme from Harshit. Short and at the hip. Priyansh played the static whip and hoped for the ball to travel all the way for a six over deep square, but not to be. The ball takes off the leading edge and picks out the lurking fielder at fine leg. Priyansh Arya c Ramandeep Singh b Harshit Rana 22(12) [4s-3 6s-1]

Harshit Rana to Priyansh Arya, SIX, Harshit Rana has been greeted with a maximum. Too full and too wide, asking to be smashed and Priyansh obliges. It was a slower delivery from Harshit Rana but the length was so full and Priyansh smoked it over extra cover for an 82-metre maximum.

Vaibhav Arora to Priyansh Arya, FOUR, a couple of mini strides down the pitch and bam! Priyansh was waiting for width and the length was ideal for him to smash the pull over mid-on with an air of authority

Vaibhav Arora to Prabhsimran, FOUR, now he comes down the pitch to force it down the ground. 130ks good length just outside off, Prabhsimran meets it on a fuller length and thump the ball over mid-off with superb timing

Vaibhav Arora to Prabhsimran, SIX, too prediectable from Vaibhav Arora. Just getting the ball to swing in from a fuller length. Prabhsimran was up and about on the back foot, whiplashing that for a nonchalant maximum over mid-wicket. Effortless!

Vaibhav Arora to Prabhsimran, FOUR, oh dear! Did he get a hand on it? Looks like it. Premeditated shot from Prabhsimran. Shuffled across and went for the scoop just outside off, met the ball on a fuller length and skewed it off a tiny inside edge. Flicks the outstretched diving palm of Nortje and rushes away to the boundary fence

Nortje to Priyansh Arya, FOUR, this one is too short and all Priyansh Arya had to do was get some power behind the shot. He went for the pull shot and dragged it off the toe end well wide of the fielder at mid-on to his left. 9 off the over.

Nortje to Priyansh Arya, FOUR, 149ks but there's ample width on this full delivery, allowing Priyansh Arya to sit back and slap the drive up and over extra cover. Raced away!
