Pathirana to Hetmyer, out Caught by Ashwin!! In the airrr, Ashwin is back-pedalling from cover. This is a toughie but he's held on to it and controlled the catch despite landing badly on the back. Massive blow and this could be a difference of 10 runs to the total. Wide yorker again, Hety looks to loft, toe-ends and holes out. Hetmyer c Ashwin b Pathirana 19(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

Khaleel Ahmed to Theekshana, no run, the angle from over the wicket makes it so tough to get LBWs for a left arm pacer unless it's moving in nicely or pitching really full. This was fairly fuller but pitched just outside leg so Theekshana reverses the onfield call

Khaleel Ahmed to Hetmyer, out Kartikeya Run Out!! Well done Khaleel Ahmed. He had the presence of mind to not really have a hard shy at the stumps and miss. Firstly was a stunner of a yorker, Hety just dug it out. The run wasn't on because the batter had no chance of taking off quickly but Kartikeya had run past the batter already. Hety reacted. Khaleel rushed forward and took the ball, ran all the way to the stumps and took the stumps out with the ball in his hands. Didn't want to leave a chance to having a shy and missing the stumps. Kartikeya run out (Khaleel Ahmed) 1(1)

W
Khaleel Ahmed to Jofra Archer, out Caught by Gaikwad at long-on!! The captain does a bit of a juggling act. Pace off and wide, the teasing slot ball as well. Jofra went for a big loft down the ground. Had to fetch it and he only hit it off the bottom of the bat. Rutu ran to the left from long-on. The ball popped out of his hands but managed to grab the rebound. Jofra Archer c Gaikwad b Khaleel Ahmed 0(2)

Khaleel Ahmed to Hetmyer, SIX, he is the dangerman now! Khaleel Ahmed missed the yorker, Hety got under it and powered it so high over deep square leg. Clears the ropes easily

W
Pathirana to Riyan Parag, out Bowled!! That is a pin-point off stump yorker than can't get any better. Gee, look at it hit the absolute base of off stump. Tough to keep those out and Riyan Parag tried to swing across the line and missed. Bit of tail in as well and Riyan couldn't have done anything about it playing across the line. End of a key innings. Riyan Parag b Pathirana 37(28) [4s-2 6s-2]

6
Noor Ahmad to Riyan Parag, SIX, the slog sweep over wide long-on now. Full and in the slot, Riyan knees down and muscles it high and handsome over wide long-on.

Noor Ahmad to Riyan Parag, FOUR, this is bold from the captain, but smart as well. He knew Noor was only looking to spin it away and there is no fielder in the deep behind point so it's a free-hit. NIcely shaped up for the reverse hit and hit it clear over short third man

Pathirana to Hetmyer, FOUR, oh inside edge escapes for four! Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Hety looks to nudge, gets a thick edge that goes past the leg stump and leaves no chance for short fine leg
15.2
Pathirana to Hetmyer, 2 runs, this is high, Overton under it and he drops it. Just as you thought CSK were having a good day in the field, Overton spills trying to reverse cup that skier with his big mitts. He is absolutely gutted about this though. Was a full delivery, Hety went for the loft and toe-ended it so high. Overton ran in from long-on and had it covered but didn't close his hands in time. A dropped catch proved to the game-changer in their last game for CSK. How much is Hety going to hurt them now?

Jadeja to Hasaranga, out Caught by Shankar at deep mid-wicket!! In the airrrrr, Vijay Shankar has taken a stunner diving forward. The other day against RCB they were awful, today they've take two very good catches. But they will check if this is a clean catch. The third ump wants a look from the front. Satisfied says the third ump. Outstanding from VS but it's yet another disappointment with the bat from Hasaranga. This was full and in the slot, Hasaranga went for a big slog-sweep, hit it flat and low. Was a very difficult catch but VS was athletic enough to dive and get his fingers under it in time. Ensured he controlled that nicely despite having to roll at speed. In fact he rolled thrice. Hasaranga c Shankar b Jadeja 4(5)

Noor Ahmad to Dhruv Jurel, out Caught by Pathirana!! In the airrrr, Pathirana has dived forward and taken it. He claims the catch and Dhruv Jurel has no problems with it either. This is a big wicket for CSK. Dhruv Jurel can be a real dangerman. RR in no mood to see off threats. They want to attack every bowler. Dhruv went for a booming lofted drive over cover the moment he saw this being overpitched. The ball turned away and took a thick edge. Pathirana was a bit slow to react. Realised he had to dive full length forward and just about managed to get his fingers it to pouch it. The ball bobbled out of his hands as he thuds onto the ground, but he manages to grab hold of it. The ball popped out as his elbows hit the ground, luckily the ball hit the chest and he was able to clutch it again. Dhruv Jurel c Pathirana b Noor Ahmad 3(7)

Ashwin to Riyan Parag, FOUR, different action from Ashwin, indifferent fielding from Rachin. Tossed up full on off-stump, looked like a leggie, was overpitched and Riyan Parag drilled it uppishly towards long-off, Rachin got around to his right but it let it through
11.4
W
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, wide, out Stumped!! Dhoni and Ashwin combine to remove Rana and also invoke a bit of nostalgia in the process! This is trademark Ashwin, he fires it out wide outside off, Rana had committed to running down the pitch and he's stranded after failing to reach it, Dhoni gathers and does what he does best. A fine knock from Rana but it's over, he bites his hand and almost gasps as he walks off. He knew he was in for a biggie tonight. Nitish Rana st Dhoni b Ashwin 81(36) [4s-10 6s-5]

4
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, FOUR, a shot of high-skill and brazen confidence! Full on off-stump, Nitish Rana goes for the full blown switch hit, he sweeps it away through short third man as a proper right hander
11.2
6
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, SIX, Nitish Rana resumes his onslaught! Full on middle-leg, was flat and Nitish Rana cleared his front-leg before mowing it over the cow corner ropes with a slog-sweep, was in the gap and just cleared the ropes
10.1
6
Pathirana to Riyan Parag, SIX, an element of arrogance in that stroke as Riyan Parag dispatches it over deep square leg! Fired in full and on the pads, easy pickings realy, Parag uses the pace and flicks it away over the fence
10.1
Pathirana to Riyan Parag, wide, wild start for Pathirana, fires this in full and well down leg
9.4
4
Noor Ahmad to Nitish Rana, FOUR, Nitish Rana just continues on his merry way! Tossed up full and very wide outside off, Nitish Rana leans in and reaches out before slapping it out towards the deep extra cover ropes, nearly goes all the way

4
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, FOUR, was shaping up to be a great over but that ruins it a little, still not bad considering it only goes for five. Tossed up full just outside off, Nitish Rana leans in and goes inside-out, lofts it beautifully over extra cover and finds the gap
8.3
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, no run, decision overturned! Was tossed up very full and it looked to be heading down leg as Nitish Rana shuffled across looking to paddle it, he missed and it struck the outer part of his front pad, no bat involved, ball-tracker says pitching in line, impact in line but missing the wickets! Just didn't turn back enough for it to hit the stumps
7.3
W
Noor Ahmad to Samson, out Caught by Ravindra!! And he's struck straightaway! The partnership has been broken and CSK can probably just breathe a little sigh of relief. Very full and just outside off, was darted in and Samson cleared his front-leg looking to skew it over long-off, couldn't quite get the elevation and he holed out to Ravindra who was stationed there. Simple enough catch and Samson. Will this wicket shift the momentum? Samson c Ravindra b Noor Ahmad 20(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

6
Khaleel Ahmed to Nitish Rana, SIX, this one has been sent into orbit! Absolutely dismissive from Nitish Rana, slower length delivery just outside off, Nitish Rana picks it and smashes it a mile over the deep mid-wicket ropes
5.5
F
Khaleel Ahmed to Nitish Rana, FOUR, terrific shot to bring up fifty for Nitish Rana! He celebrates with a cradling-gesture and blows a kiss to someone in the crowd. Short of length outside off, Nitish Rana hangs back and slaps it up and over backward point
5.2
4
Khaleel Ahmed to Nitish Rana, FOUR, the bleeding continues! Length delivery just outside off, Nitish Rana pressed back looking to slash it away, wasn't quite wide enough for it and he got a thick outside edge that ran down fine past the keeper
4.4
4
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, FOUR, third sweep in a row and it finds the ropes! Another poor delivery, full-toss on middle, Nitish Rana leans in and smacks it into the vacant deep backward square leg region again
4.3
6
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, SIX, nearly an action replay! Ashwin gives this a bit more air but its the same result, Nitish Rana leans across and sweeps it uppishly to clear the deep backward square leg ropes
4.2
6
Ashwin to Nitish Rana, SIX, poor delivery and put away! Fired in full and heading down leg, Nitish Rana plants his foot across and lifts it over the deep backward square leg ropes with a sweep
3.5
6
Jamie Overton to Samson, SIX now it's Samson's turn! This length isn't working for Jamie Overton, banged in halfway down and it just sits up, Samson presses back and muscles it away over deep mid-wicket, clears the boundary with ease and nearly puts a dent in the display car
3.3
4
Jamie Overton to Nitish Rana, FOUR, Rana is starting to get into his groove here! Another half-tracker this, Nitish Rana just arches back and waits for it before just presenting the bat in line to ramp it over the keeper
3.1
4
Jamie Overton to Nitish Rana, FOUR, a boundary to finish the previous over and one to start this! Banged in halfway down the track, Nitish Rana gets inside the line, uses the pace and angle to help it over fine-leg who was in the ring
3
4
Khaleel Ahmed to Samson, FOUR, that's timed so sweetly! Just short of length on leg-stump, Samson waits for it as he tucks it away through mid-wicket off his hips, Pathirana sprints around to his left and slides awkwardly, gets into a right old tangle and ends up sticking his legs out at it and he fails to stop it
1.5
6
Jamie Overton to Nitish Rana, SIX, just over the man! Pretty good shot in the end, short of length and slanting across just outside off, Nitish Rana arched back to create some room before slicing it away quite late, deliberately hit it in the air and just about cleared Khaleel at third man
1.3
4
Jamie Overton to Nitish Rana, FOUR, Overton goes searching and he pays the price! Not great fielding too and between the two errors, CSK concede a boundary. Too full and on the pads, Nitish Rana waits for it and just flicks it away towards long leg, Pathirana the man there, slid across but couldn't drag it back in
0.5
4
Khaleel Ahmed to Nitish Rana, FOUR, overpitched again and Rana doesn't miss out a second time! Too full and just outside off, Nitish Rana gets just a small stride in, he waits for it and opens the face of the bat to steer it away nicely past point

Khaleel Ahmed to Jaiswal, out Caught by Ashwin!! Gone this time! Khaleel is absolutely pumped! Soft-dismissal for Jaiswal, he stands there for a second with a dejected look on his face before dragging himself off. This surface isn't true and Jaiswal learns the hard way. Good length delivery just outside off, Jaiswal looks to punch it off the backfoot but is through his shot a fraction too early, he ends up chipping it straight to Ashwin at mid-off and he makes no mistake. Big and early setback for RR. Jaiswal c Ashwin b Khaleel Ahmed 4(3) [4s-1]

Khaleel Ahmed to Jaiswal, FOUR, Jaiswal stamps his authority imperiously! Pitched up full and just outside off, only a hin of shape and it was right in the slot for Jaiswal to drill it through the covers
