50
Labuschagne to Jofra Archer, 2 runs, and England end with 351 - the highest total in the history of Champions Trophy. Huge score. But they would feel 20 runs short the way they were going at the 30 over mark. Was outside off and Jofra Archer got it down to long-off for a brace. The throw came in at the batter's end but Jofra Archer had made it with elan

Labuschagne to Brydon Carse, out Caught&Bowled!! Was a well tossed up delivery, outside off, Brydon Carse went for the slog sweep and skied it. Labuschagne called for it, went back, dived and took it. Australia have caught everything. Labuschagne has his second wicket. Excellent thinking from him as he tossed it up. The batter had to go for it and failed to hit it clean. 8th one down. Brydon Carse c and b Labuschagne 8(7)

Labuschagne to Duckett, out Lbw!! End of a marathon knock. Almost batted through the essay. Was a tossed up delivery, very slow, Duckett wantd to slog it across the line and missed making contact. The ball was heading to the sticks and the umpire deemed it out. Duckett had to review and he took a chsnce but wasn't to be. England lose a big wicket and the gamble with Labuschagne has paid off. That was a low arm delivery and never arrived at the batter. But what a knock! He batted with aplomb. Duckett lbw b Labuschagne 165(143) [4s-17 6s-3]

Dwarshuis to Livingstone, out Caught by Nathan Ellis!! Another one falls. Livingstone looks to swing it away. But is caught at deep square. Was a slower ball, angled in, Livingstone heaved it away but found the fielder. Duckett has been getting the runs at one end but wickets continue to go down at the other. The ball gripped a little and Livingstone failed to get a lot of timing on it. The fielder didn't have to much to take that. Australia's catching as such has been good.

Maxwell to Buttler, out Caught by Nathan Ellis!! Taken at deep mid. That was an offie. Not much turn, outside off, Buttler dragged the slog sweep but has hit it flat to the man at deep mid. Good neat take by the man at deep mid. The ball went low to the fielder in the deep and he pouched it easily. The bat face turned a bit and he never got the elevation. Half the side is gone now. Buttler was gutted. Slammed his right hand into the turf. Buttler c Nathan Ellis b Maxwell 23(21) [4s-1 6s-1]

Zampa to Duckett, FOUR, much needed! The reverse comes to the aid again. Tossed up ball, at the sticks, Duckett goes for the reverse and sends it over point. Only 28 had off the last 6 overs prior to this. Duckett does well to put the pressure back on Zampa

Zampa to Brook, out Caught by Carey!! And gone. Huge wicket. Two wickets in quick succession for the Aussies. That was a tossed up delivery, the batter danced down and looked to go over cover. The ball went off the outer-half and sliced up. Carey who doesn't have the gloves on was at point. He moved a few paces back, dived and took it as the ball was just trying to evade him. Excellent take in the end from someone who is usually a keeper. Brook c Carey b Zampa 3(6)

W
Zampa to Root, out Lbw!! Root given out lbw and he's reviewed that real quick. Did he get some bat on it? No bat. Clear gap between bat and ball. UltraEdge shows a flat line. Onto ball tracking now. We have a bit of a delay here as they build upto ball tracking. Umpire's call on hitting. Clipping the outside part of leg stump. England don't lose the review, but Root has to go. He clearly looks a bit upset. An excellent opportunity for him to score his first ODI ton since 2019 World Cup, but the wait continues... A quicker full delivery from Zampa, it skids on after pitching and beats Root on the inside edge. Root stayed low trying to sweep and missed it. Hit him in line with middle and leg. Dwarshuis to Phil Salt, out Caught by Carey!! Carey has pulled off a screamer here! 130.5kph, full on leg, Phil Salt slightly moves leg-side to bunt it over wide mid-on. Decent contact and the batter would have hoped for a boundary. But Carey does something special. Moves to his right from mid-on, flies across and plucks it out of thin air - a one-handed stunner. The ball doesn't pop out even as he tumbles. The timing of the jump was perfect. Phil Salt c Carey b Dwarshuis 10(6) [4s-1 6s-1]
