Migael Pretorius to Sipamla, 3 runs, dropped! Sipamla chipped it off the toe end on the off-side and Muthuswamy couldn't hold on. He ran in from deep cover to his left and was distracted by the fielder running in from deep backward point. Thankfully, there was no collision..

Migael Pretorius to Tahir, out Caught by Tom Rogers!! Number three for Migael Pretorius. Bowls a tempting full delivery in the channel wide of off. Tahir throws the kitchen sink and ends up skewing it off the bottom of the blade to the left of backward point. Rogers, who had just finished his spell, takes a sharp catch with a mini dive. Tahir c Tom Rogers b Migael Pretorius 4(7)

Tom Rogers to Sipamla, FOUR, a bit too full from Tom Rogers and Sipamla has lifted that back over the bowler's head with superb timing. Picked the slower ball and managed to get enough bat on it

Migael Pretorius to Viljoen, out Caught&Bowled!! Wild slog from Viljoen and he perishes. Saw a 132ks delivery that was a touch fuller just outside off, went for the cross-bat smash and got a thick top-edge high into the sky. The bowler ran back and accepted that with both hands. Too easy. Viljoen c and b Migael Pretorius 2(10)

Tom Rogers to Viljoen, no run, appeal for lbw and Capitals have gone up for a review. Was that a bit high? Yes, indeed. The nip-backer from Tom Rogers and hit Viljoen high on the front pad. Viljoen couldn't get bat on the drive and it appeared to be going over the top of middle according to the ball tracker

Gideon Peters to Ferreira, out Ferreira Run Out!! 1 run completed. This is the last thing the Super Kings wanted. A run-out. Ferreira steers it square on the off-side and calls his partner for a couple immediately. Lion Cachet was alert to the run out opportunity in the deep. He ran to his left from deep backward point and collected the ball on the slide, sent in a sharp throw to the keeper and it just bounced once before knocking the poles. The keeper was well behind the stumps and he did well not to interrupt the path of the ball. Ferreira run out (Keagan Lion Cachet) 14(16) [6s-1]

Migael Pretorius to Bairstow, out Bowled!! Migael Pretorius jumps in the air in delight. He knew this is a big wicket and it couldn't have come at a better time for the Capitals. Seam up length delivery nipping in late from off stump, Bairstow tried to adjust with a straight bat, but it was too good a delivery. Curled in viciously and hit the top of leg peg. Bairstow b Migael Pretorius 30(32) [4s-2 6s-1]

Migael Pretorius to Ferreira, SIX, wow! That was a half-hit from Ferreira. Picked the (short) length really early and sat back to pull it flat over the mid-wicket fence
11.3
W
Muthusamy to Evan Jones, out Caught by Will Smeed!! The moment the ball left the bat, Jones knew he was in trouble. Was a nice teaser from Muthusamy, Fuller and wider of off, not enough pace but Jones goes hard and ends up slicing it down the throat of Smeed at sweeper cover. Evan Jones c Will Smeed b Muthusamy 9(8) [6s-1]

Gideon Peters to Evan Jones, SIX, lovely timing! Has to be the shot of the game so far. Overpitched outside off at 145ks, Jones holds his shape and lofts it effortlessly over extra cover for an 84-metre maximum
10
Muthusamy to Bairstow, 1 run, full on off, Bairstow biffs the drive to long-off
8.4
W
Gideon Peters to Moeen Ali, out Lbw!! Moeen Ali does not trouble the scorers. A pacy yorker aimed for the base of middle stump, Moeen Ali was late to bring his bat down and was struck dead in front of leg stump. The review was on hope that it had pitched outside leg, not to be. Moeen Ali lbw b Gideon Peters 0(2)
8.2
W
Gideon Peters to Conway, out Caught by Verreynne!! The comeback was short-lived for Conway. It was the pace that did him. Dug in short and it took off the deck with extra pace away from the left-hander, Conway thought of pulling initially but decided to back away at the very last second. Too late and ended up getting a feather of a top-edge through to the left of the keeper. Skipper Verreynne had no doubts and went up for the review without an air of hesitation. Conway c Verreynne b Gideon Peters 9(10) [4s-2]

4
Muthusamy to Conway, FOUR, and he resumes his innings with a boundary. Muthusamy goes quicker and wider of off stump, Conway jumps on it with a cut and beats the fielder at sweeper to his right
7.4
W
Muthusamy to Wihan Lubbe, out Caught by Eathan Bosch!! Wihan Lubbe's scratchy knock comes to an end. He wanted to take on the left arm spinner, as was evident at the start of the over. Sat down on one knee and went for the swipe down the ground. Mistimed it off the toe end and long-on takes a fine catch sliding across to his left. Wihan Lubbe c Eathan Bosch b Muthusamy 3(11)

Eathan Bosch to Bairstow, SIX, that is typical Jonny Bairstow. Sees the overpitched delivery in the slot outside off, sinks to one knee and lofts it inside out over extra cover with absolute disdain

4
Eathan Bosch to Bairstow, FOUR, short and angling down leg, Bairstow picks the change of pace and rolls his wrists on the pull to beat the fielder at deep square to his right

4
Eathan Bosch to Bairstow, FOUR, a juicy low full toss outside off, Bairstow opens the bat face and creams the drive past the diving right hand of backward point. Too easy...

Tom Rogers to du Plessis, out Caught by Migael Pretorius!! Faf will be gutted. He looked in good touch and has thrown it away. Seam-up length delivery just outside off, Faf tried to go for the scoop but ended up hitting it off the toe end of the bat. Got more height than distance and it was a fairly easy catch for the man at short fine. du Plessis c Migael Pretorius b Tom Rogers 14(13) [4s-1 6s-1]
3.2
4
Tom Rogers to du Plessis, FOUR, once again Faf uses his feet, gives himself enough room to swing on the leg-side, The length was short from Tom Rogers and it has been thrashed away over mid-wicket with disdain
2.5
Eathan Bosch to du Plessis, no run, oh dear! Faf slogged that straight onto his partner. Conway gets clonked on his right forearm. He looks to be in severe pain as the physio tends to him. It was a touch fuller from Eathan Bosch and Faf went really hard at it. Dragged it off the toe end and ended up hurting his partner. The deflection smashed the stumps, and that got the crowd excited. Eathan Bosch too tried to take a stump out, but Conway got back in time. Conway is walking off the field. Not a good sign if you are a SuperKings fan. Lubbe will replace him...
2.3
6
Eathan Bosch to du Plessis, SIX, smoked! Faf realised that the ball isn't coming on rapidly and did well to skate down the pitch and hold his shape on the loft to deposit Eathan Bosch high and mighty over wide long-off

Tom Rogers to Conway, FOUR, thumped over mid-off! Conway comes down the track and lifts the full delivery with terrific timing over the infield...
