Tongue to Akash Deep, byes, FOUR, sprayed down the leg side again! On a length and the swing takes it well down the leg side - nothing that Jamie Smith could have done

Atkinson to Washington Sundar, out Caught by Jamie Overton!! Gone this time! Short again, and angling in sharply from round the wicket. Sundar hangs on his back leg and tries to pull it away. Makes no effort to keep it down and hits it a bit too well to end up getting holed out at deep square leg. Sundar looks absolutely gutted, he wanted to play that a lot finer. A bit fuller and pitched just outside off, nipped back in sharply and beats the inside edge and thuds onto the back pad knee roll. Very tentative from Karun Nair, made minimal foot movement on that delivery and the front leg angled to his left. After a fighting fifty, Karun Nair has to walk back. Good length delivery just outside off, leapt off the deck and nipped back in, got big on Dhruv Jurel as he looked to cut. He couldn't get on top of the bounce and it took a thick outside edge before flying to Brook at second slip. Kudos to Brook for picking the ball early and getting up quickly. Timed his jump to perfection and got side on to the right to take it around head height. The side on replay makes it even more appealing with the way he pouched it with soft hands. Hit one hand, ricocheted onto the other and got clutched into the soft palms. Promise shown by Jurel fizzles out into nothing. India in a bit of trouble now, six down. Atkinson to Dhruv Jurel, no run, decision overturned! That's a bit of a shocker from umpire Ahsan Raza! Good length delivery outside off, niped back in as Dhruv Jurel pressed back and covered his stumps before shouldering arms, struck him well outside the line before going through to the keeper, never looked out and Jurel knew it

Jamie Overton to Dhruv Jurel, FOUR, short, wide and Dhruv Jurel helps himself to a boundary! Safe shot considering there was no one down at third man, he flashed hard and it flew well clear of the slip cordon, one-bounce four

Woakes to Dhruv Jurel, FOUR, strays in line and Dhruv Jurel capitalizes! Good length delivery on middle-leg, Dhruv Jurel stays inside the line and just uses the pace and angle to tuck it down to the long leg ropes

Woakes to Karun Nair, FOUR, inside edge! Good length delivery on off-stump, Karun Nair hung back and defended, it found a thick inside edge and just about went over leg-stump! He's lucky to not lose his wicket there!

Tongue to Jadeja, out Caught by Jamie Smith!! Oopsy, I cannot get out of the way kind of push-defence from Jadeja. Another peach of a ball that a batter couldn't have done much about. Tongue has been wayward spraying it down the leg-side often, but he's bowled some tough balls as well and got two wickets in this spell. This short of length delivery jumped on Jadeja while moving away. Jadeja was hopping to try and defend, but all he managed was an outside edge almost unavoidable. Wobble seam short of length delivery angling in and heading bang on off stump. Sai Sudharsan had to play. He tried to defend off the back foot, but the ball nipped away late. Sai got squared up, the bat came down at an angle because of that and the outside edge was ineviatable. Sai grimaces, throws his head back and walks off without waiting for the finger. Jamie Overton went across the left-hander for this short of length delivery, Sai plays inside the line with an angled bat, soft hands on the handle meant the edge was always going down quickly

Jamie Overton to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, shot! Every time it's not been good length or full, Sai hasn't stopped himself for playing an aggressive cut. Just a bit of width, but the ball jumped yet Sai controlled the shot so well to jump and play it all along the ground past backward point

Atkinson to Gill, out Gill Run Out!! That is suicidal from Gill. Just when there was a thought about the understanding these two have since their IPL time, Gill sets off on a run that was definitely not on. He defended this fullish delivery towards short cover. The ball wasn't far away from Atkinson though. Gill was halfway down the pitch despite Sai behaving like a traffic cop trying to stop his captain but Gill completely misjudged the run. Sai did take a step forward but you can't blame him there. Atkinson quickly attacked the ball to the left, took aim and smashed the stumps at the striker's end. Gill was only coming to a screeching halt and reversing in the middle of the pitch when Atkinson had already set his target for the throw. He sets off on a celebratory run. Jamie Overton to Gill, FOUR, lovely, juicy from Gill. A forward step towards the ball but not pushing it too hard. Just let this outswinger come to him and played a punchy-cover drive to the left of mid-off. That should settle him a bit more

Jamie Overton to Gill, FOUR, back of length and outside off, not enough pace on that delivery. Shubman Gill with a classic pull through square leg - all along the ground for a boundary

Woakes to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, overpitched and onto the stumps, Sai Sudharsan greets it with the full face of the bat - a gun barrel straight drive that races away to the fence!

Jamie Overton to Gill, FOUR, back of length and wider, Gill hangs back in his crease and judges the length perfectly. Punched through covers for another boundary

Woakes to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, good length and angles onto the pads, Sudharsan tickles it away to the right of the leg slip fielder. Runs away for four

Jamie Overton to Gill, FOUR, a touch of class from the Indian skipper! Back of length delivery outside off at a pedestrian pace, gives Gill plenty of time to rock back and punch it through covers for a boundary

Tongue to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, a welcome boundary! Tongue errs with the overpitched one, a bit too straight as well. Sai Sudharsan gets in line and picks up a lovely drive down the ground for a boundary - to the left of the bowler

Woakes to Rahul, out Bowled!! Chopped on! A back of length delivery, shapes away but decks back in off the deck and gets a bit of steep bounce. Rahul tried to cut but that ball got too close to be playing that shot. Was forced to hack at it with an angled bat and he ends up chopping it back onto his stumps. All that hard work against the new ball from Rahul goes in vain. An innings that showed lot of early promise ends prematurely. Rahul b Woakes 14(40) [4s-1]

Woakes to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, that wasn't far from the man at leg-slip! Good length delivery on middle-leg, got this to shape back in and Sai Sudharsan used the angle to tuck it away wide of the man, first boundary for the left hander

Atkinson to Jaiswal, out Lbw!! A gamble that pays off big time! There were two sounds and that was the confusion but the two sounds were off the front and back pads. Seemed like Duckett wasn't exactly happy with the call to review. Even Stokes wore a puzzled look in the dressing room but Pope has got it right and does a double fist pump with a smile towards the England dressing room. Stokes now bursts into a laugh as he claps. Jaiswal falls early again, he's had lean returns since that century in the first Test. Good length delivery angling back into the pads, there was a hint of movement back in off the deck too and it went past the inside edge before hitting him just below the knee-roll on the pads. Feet didn't move all the much too and the reason the umpire probably remained unmoved was because of the two sounds. Woakes to Rahul, FOUR, first boundary of the game! Good length delivery on middle-leg, too straight from Woakes and Rahul just tucks it away through mid-wicket, long chase for Tongue at mid-wicket and Overton running across from deep square leg, neither can get to it in the end as it just about beats them to trickle into the ropes. Overton went for a mega sliding save but only ended up pushing the rope away
