bangladesh vs netherlands, super 12, t20 world cup 2022
Bangladesh vs Netherlands, Super 12, T20 World Cup 2022
Bangladesh openers gave their side a solid start.
Paul van Meekeren broke the stand before the end of the powerplay.
That opened the floodgates as Bangladesh kept losing wickets.
Netherlands seized control as Bangladesh lost their early advantage.
Afif Hossain's knock proved to be vital in the end as Bangladesh scraped to 144/8.
In reply, Netherlands lost two wickets off the first two balls of the chase in stunning fashion.
To add to their woes, two run outs in one over reduced them to 15/4.
Colin Ackermann was the lone man fighting as wickets tumbled at the other end.
Once Ackermann departed, van Meekeren almost came up with a late twist.
However, Bangladesh held their nerve to come out with a victory.
