Ajaz Patel struck in the second over of the day to strike twice in two balls to senc back Saha and Ashwin.
After the double strike, Axar joined hands with centurion Mayank who went on to get his 150 in the second session.
Mayank Agarwal scored his third score of 150 in Tests.
Ajaz dismissed Mayank soon after his 150 to extend his tally of wickets.
Ajaz created history picking up all 10 wickets in an innings - he was only the third bowler to do so as India were bowled out for 325.
Siraj struck early on in the innings to get both openers as NZ lost two wickets within 5 overs.
Siraj gave India control after 3-14 in his three-over spell.
Indian spinners came into the attack and struck right away as NZ were reduced to 38/6 at Lunch.
After Tea, Ashwin struck for two in an over as NZ slid further.
Mayank Agarwal and Pujara started strong in their second innings as NZ failed to make early inroads.
India ended the day with an unbeaten stand of 69 for the opening wicket extending their lead to 332.
