Shreyas Iyer scored 83 off 56 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes.

Skipper JP Duminy too looked in sublime touch and played second fiddle to Iyer before he upped the ante in the slog overs. He made 78 off 50 balls with the help of three fours and sis sixes.

Shreyas Iyer and JP Duminy then combined for a huge 154-run stand for the second wicket to lay a solid foundation for DD.

Angelo Mathews played a handy knock of 17 off eight balls as Delhi Daredevils went on to score 190 for 4.

In defence of 190, Delhi Daredevils were bouyed by some excellent fielding early on. JP Duminy took a brilliant catch at long-on to remove Lendl Simmons for 15.

Imran Tahir bettered his skipper effort as he took a diving catch at deep midwicket - running in from deep square - to get rid of Parthiv Patel for 28.

Amit Mishra further dented Mumbai Indians' chase by removing Unmukt Chand and Kieron Pollard in quick succession.

It took another good catch in the outfield, this time by Shahbaz Nadeem to remove Rohit Sharma off Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu kept Mumbai Indians in the hunt for a brief while, Rohit made 30 off 24 balls and Rayudu scored 30 off 22 balls.

Imran Tahir then sealed the game in his team's favour by claiming three wickets in over to finish with figures of 3-0-22-3.

Delhi Daredevils restricted Mumbai Indians to 153 for 9 and registered a 37-run win and also broke a nine-match losing streak at their home ground of Feroz Shah Kotla.
