Role Overview
As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for translating cricket fans’ needs into delightful, user-friendly digital experiences. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Content Teams to design products that bring cricket to life in innovative ways. Your expertise in B2C product design and proficiency with modern design tools will help Cricbuzz continue to be the go-to platform for cricket enthusiasts.

User Experience Design: Design user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns to optimize the overall user experience. Strive to make complex interactions simple and intuitive for our users.

Ensure design consistency through style guides, design systems, and reusable components.
Conduct usability testing and apply insights to continuously improve designs.
Advocate for user-centered design practices within the team.
3–6 years of experience in Product Design, preferably in consumer-facing (B2C) digital products.
Strong passion and knowledge of cricket — familiar with match formats, player stats, commentary experiences, and fan behavior.
Proficiency in Figma (must-have) and other design/prototyping tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Experience designing for mobile-first products with large, diverse user bases.
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design projects with measurable impact.
Ability to balance business needs, technology constraints, and user delight.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working on sports, media, or live-event platforms.
Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions.
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS basics) for design handoff.
Understanding and hands-on experience with AI (not mandatory but a strong plus).
