   Profile
Steven Taylor, a dedicated young sportsman, was involved with basketball, soccer, baseball and athletics, before choosing cricket as his main sport. He played at Club level from a very young age. His first big assignment was the 2010 Under-19 World Cup and he played in the tournament as a wicketkeeper batsman. He was then the vice-captain for the ICC Americas Under-19 Championship in the 2010-2011 season. USA won that tournament, while Taylor had a fantastic time scoring 157 runs in 5 games and effecting 7 dismissals.

Consistent performances in domestic cricket, earned him a place in the 2010 World Cricket League Division Four. In 2012, he was selected for the World T20 Qualifiers. In the 2013 ICC World Cricket League Americas Region Twenty20 Division One, he became the first US batsman to score a century in T20 cricket. He scored 101 off 62 balls against Bermuda and added a second ton (127 n.o.) against Cayman Islands. In the 2013 World Cricket League Division Three, he scored 274 runs, that included an ODI ton against Nepal.
