Nimesh Perera - jnr is a Sri Lankan first-class cricketer, who also plays as a part-time wicketkeeper. He has been playing first-class cricket since the 2001-2002 season. Prior to that, he was also a part of the Under-19 Sri Lankan team. He also plays for the Antonians Sports Club, Burgher Recreation Club, Chilaw Marians Cricket Club and also Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club. He also bowls right-arm medium pace sometimes. He has over 4000 first class runs to his name with a high score of 211. Unfortunately, despite being around in the Sri Lankan domestic circuit for nearly 15 years, he has never made it to the national team.
