   Profile
Kiran More made his first-class debut with Baroda in 1980. After a few fruitful domestic seasons, More was selected for the home series against England, where he made his international debut in the first ODI on December 5, 1984. However, he was not a regular member of the limited-overs side. He made his Test debut England in the 1986, where he took 16 catches in the series, a record for an Indian wicket-keeper against England. Since then, he was the first choice keeper for India in the longest format.

More was part of the Indian setup at the 1992 World Cup. In a match against Pakistan, his excessive appealing forced Javed Miandad to mock him by leaping up and down. More did not make any significant contributions with the bat in ODIs, while his 73 against New Zealand at Napier in 1990 was his best knock in Tests. He lost his place in the Indian side to Baroda team-mate Nayan Mongia in 1993.

More spent his time with Baroda in 1998, before hanging up his boots. In 2002, he was appointed as the Chairman of selectors for India, a post he held for four years. More joined the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL), back in 2007 along with former India captain Kapil Dev and several others, and was banned by the BCCI with immediate effect. However, in 2012, he was granted amnesty, which allowed him to return to the fold of the parent cricket body.
