 Profile
One of the underrated performances in the domestic cricket, Ganesh Satish is a right-hand batsman who was born in Davengere in Karnataka but currently plies his trade for Vidarbha.

Satish laddered his way up after breezy knocks for Karnataka in youth groups and went onto make his debut for the state in 2008. Often labeled as the crisis man, Satish made some crucial contributions for Karnataka and was a very bankable batsman. He made a pivotal 75 in the second innings of the Ranji Final for Karnataka against Mumbai in 2009, although his side finished on the losing side, Satish showed his never-say-die-attitude. Again in 2014, Satish made his presence felt in the final raising a ton against Maharashtra and on this occasion, Karnataka emerged as the Champions. With lack of opportunities in the Karnataka set-up, Satish moved to Vidarbha for the next season. In the 2017-18 season, he was the third highest run-scorer for his team with 608 runs in nine matches for Vidarbha, who lifted the coveted title.

A few months later, the talented batsman was included in the India Blue squad for the Duleep Trophy.
