   Profile
A skiddy customer, Mohammad Talha made rapid strides at the domestic level to win a Test and ODI cap for Pakistan. He came into the reckoning in the year 2005 and after trysts with Aaqib Javed, who marshalled his progress, Talha made his debut in the controversial Test in 2009 at Lahore, where Lankan players were shot at.

But his debut not only due to off-field reasons but his inability on the field also made it less memorable. 5 years after that he made his ODI debut against India in an Asia Cup game which turned out to be a thriller as Pakistan won that with a wicket to spare. Talha accounted for the wickets of Rahane and Rohit Sharma as he ended with figures of 2 for 22 in his 7 overs.

He continued being a part of the team for the rest of the tourney but was never picked again. Even in the whites, his tally ended with 4 games. It has been little over three years since he last played for Pakistan. And with the strong comebacks of Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan, add to it to the arrival of Hasan Ali, a possible return for the lean pacer looks highly unlikely.

But having been a strong performer at the first-class and list-A level, he might not be prepared to give it up so easily.
