 Profile
The current skipper of the Indian U-19 team, Pavan Shah etched his name in the record books after slamming a belligerent 282 runs off 332 in the second youth Test against Sri Lanka U-19s. He became the highest individual run-scorer for India U-19s and second overall in the list, only behind Australia's Clinton Peake who tops the list with a score of 304, ironically it was against India U-19s in 1995.

Pavan was unstoppable in that game. At one instance, he took a special liking to Sri Lankan seamer, V Perera, butchering him for six fours in an over. In August 2018, Pavan was named the skipper of the Indian U-19 for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.
