 Profile
Growing up in a cricketing family, Nathan is the cousin of Malcom and Andy, who are the current and former Zimbabwean cricketers respectively. Educated from St John's College, Nathan is a handy all-rounder and an exciting talent from Zimbabwe. He came through the ranks of age-group cricket and eventually made it to the Zimbabwe U-19 squad in the U-19 World Cup in 2010. Although they had a poor campaign, Nathan picked up 8 wickets in the tournament at an average of 19.62.

Soon after their exit, Zimbabwe's coach Stephen Mangongo earmarked him as a player for the future. 'Nathan Waller has a good physique and all the attributes of a fast bowler'. A few months later, Nathan made his first-class debut for Zimbabwe XI against Netherlands. From there he peaked up his game season after season and his wait for a national call-up ended when he was included in Zimbabwe's tour of Sri Lanka in 2017.
