Connolly to Maharaj, out Stumped!! And he does have a fifer indeed. He cannot help but sport a big smile. Came in to offer some runs with the bat and maybe a few overs. Didn't get the chance to bat and here he is enjoying his maiden ODI fifer. What a day for him. He raises the ball to acknowledge the applause and each of his teammates enjoyed that feat, which is great see. Maharaj felt he had enough of nudging and decided to step out and play an aggressive shot. Alert Connolly dropped it short and got it to turn away a bit. Maharaj couldn't connect and Josh Inglis was ready with the gather and stumping. Maharaj st Josh Inglis b Connolly 2(13)

Connolly to Corbin Bosch, out Caught by Labuschagne!! Marnus it is again, this time taking a well judged catch overhead very mindful of the rope behind. There was a chirp of Connolly picking up a fifer and he's got four now with two wickets left. The obvious tease from the bowler - that's the luxury of a huge total on the board. Bosch goes for glory, but hits it flat and Marnus plucks it just inside the boundary. Corbin Bosch c Labuschagne b Connolly 17(15) [4s-2]

Connolly to Mulder, out Caught by Labuschagne!! And there goes Marnus - takes a stunner! You might not give him a chance with the bat because the team has got a great start. You might not give him the ball because the opposition has lost the way but he shows he can still grab the limelight flying around in the field to take a catch. The third ump checks if he picked it up from the ground and thankfully the third ump sees fingers under the ball. These replays so often can be iffy even if the fielder has taken it neat. So Connolly threw it up and asked Mulder to have a go. He did go but he went hard and so flat. The ball wasn't carrying to long-on. Marnus ran in, dived full length forward. Got both hands to it, bounced off the right hand as his fingers were pointing down on the dive. But he closed it with the left hand and importantly had his fingers cushioned under it. Connolly to Brevis, out Caught by Green!! And he's fallen in the trap. The idea was to make him play big shots, not that he wouldn't do otherwise. It was either full or filth to trick him into a mishit. Here full credit to Connolly for firing it really full without giving him room. Brevis couldn't exactly get under the ball so he hit it flatter and a man as tall as Chris Green was always going to be tough to clear the ropes. He is livid with himself. Punches his thigh pad hard with the glove as he walks off. Shame that he missed his deserved fifty by a run. Australia have almost sealed this game now if not earlier. Brevis c Green b Connolly 49(28) [4s-2 6s-5]

15.5
Connolly to Mulder, no run, now tries the paddle, mistimes to backward square leg. Oh dear, mix-up and Brevis slips after Mulder confused him midway. Manages to sort out his footing and reverses home with a dive. Connolly fumbles the gather under pressure and misses an easy runout chance. Was always a risky run and Mulder doubted it after taking a few steps forward. Brevis was fully committed until he saw his partner
