PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Peshawar Zalmi hunted down Rawalpindi Pindiz's 214 despite not having a half-centurion. Barring Hardie, all their batters made notable contributions as Zalmi recorded their highest run-chase. It's fair to say that the senior bowlers let the Pindiz down. The first two games were won the team batting first. The trend seemed to continue but PZ had other ideas. That's it from this high-scoring encounter. There's one more game lined up - Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United - at the same venue. See you there..
Babar Azam: After the first half, we had planned to bat well in the first six overs and then maintain the momentum. Our middle-order responded really well, played according to the situation and in the end, we finished well. We will decide based on the conditions (whether to bat or bowl first).
Mohammad Rizwan: We need to focus on our bowling. The batters are in good form. However, in bowling, our lengths need to be fixed.
Michael Bracewell | Player of the Match: "Yeah, the openers set us a great foundation, first of all. Got us off to a great start, and then we stagnated through the middle a little bit there. And then we were able to apply pressure at the right time. Samad and Aamer, the way that they batted was brilliant, and I was able to get on the back of that."
18:15 Local Time, 13:15 GMT, 18:45 IST: It's the highest successful run-chase at this venue in PSL history. Chasing a stiff target, Peshawar Zalmi got off to a brisk start with the openers scoring 62 in the powerplay without losing a wicket. Asif Afridi provided the breakthrough by trapping Babar Azam lbw and Mohammad Haris perished in the very next over. While Hardie struggled to get going, Kusal Mendis played a good innings - a quickfire 31. When he holed out to long-off, the Zalmi's asking rate was nearing 15 RPO. That's when Michael Bracewell and Abdul Samad joined hands. They took the attack to the bowlers and the Pindiz succumbed under pressure. Too many loose deliveries and the pair took full toll as they forged an incredible 64-run partnership. The three experienced bowlers - Rishad, Naseem and Amir - were taken to the cleaners. Amir removed Samad off his final ball of the spell but that didn't hamper the Zalmi as Aamer Jamal applied the finishing touches with a little cameo and took his team home with five balls to spare. Stay tuned for the presentations..

Mohammad Amir to Abdul Samad, out Caught by Billings!! Amir removes Abdul Samad off his final delivery! The Pindiz badly needed that wicket. Short ball, Samad spots the change of pace as well as he stands tall to slam the pull. doesn't get the necessary elevation and Billings takes the catch at long-on. End of a superb knock nevertheless from Samad. Abdul Samad c Billings b Mohammad Amir 33(11) [4s-1 6s-4]
Mohammad Amir to Abdul Samad, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Mohammad Amir to Abdul Samad, SIX, even better! Amir doesn't learn and feeds an overpitched delivery onto the pads. Samad takes full toll of it. Uses the bowler's angle to whip it over deep square leg
