213/7 vs 213/9 after 100 overs | 10/1 vs 9/1 in the Super Over. Both teams strengthened their spin attack for this match, it was the right call and the strike-rates of the batters (except Rishad Hossain) are a testament to that. Only a handful of sixes and yet we witnessed an absolute humdinger of a contest. The conditions are expected to remain the same as the series decider will be played at the same venue. If you're a pacer, you're almost unwanted here in Dhaka. Join us on Thursday (23rd October) for the third and the final ODI. For now, it's goodbye from Abhinand Raghavendran, Raju Peethala, Siva and Venkatesh.
Shai Hope | West Indies skipper and Player of the Match: We always keep the fans on the edge of the seats, very important for us to pull this game off. We thought that we could restrict them to 160-170, guys played very well in the back end and that happens. Tough going once again and really proud of the way the guys fought. It was a tricky chase and we wanted to keep wickets in hand, just happy that we got over the line, hopefully we can learn from this game, especially the batting innings and look forward to the next game.
Mehidy Hasan | Bangladesh skipper: It's a new experience (super over) for us, the boys played well. Mustafizur bowled really well (in the super over) and we would have been happy if we had won. It is not easy to bat on this surface and Rishad scored some crucial runs for the team and he has played really well. He is playing very confidently all the time. We don't have options for that final over (on bowling Saif) and we believed that if we could get one wicket we can have the game. If we had taken that catch (off the final ball of the game), we would have won. We are looking forward to the next game.
Mustafizur was summoned to bowl for Bangladesh in the Super Over and he did a good job. Removed Rutherford off the 2nd ball and almost had King off the 4th ball. A streaky boundary off the final ball took West Indies to 10 runs. Akeal, for West Indies, felt the pressure as he bowled a wide, no-ball and ended up giving 5 runs off 1 legitimate ball. But he held his nerve post that. Varied his line and length smartly to deceive the batters. Soumya Sarkar holed out in the deep and Bangladesh couldn't score a single boundary in the Super Over. Stick around for the post-match stuff.
21:26 Local Time, 15:26 GMT, 20:56 IST: Phew! It needed a Super Over to separate these two teams and even there, the difference was just 1 run. This result means, the series is leveled 1-1 with one more match to go. It was another dry and slow deck and Bangladesh opted to bat first. West Indies bowled 50 overs of spin! Yes, you read that right and kept a lid on the scoring rate for 46 overs. In walked Rishad Hossain and played a blinder to take the team's total over 200, just like the first ODI. In reply, West Indies got off to a decent start, thanks to the fifty partnership between Athanaze and Carty. Rishad broke that stand and it seemed like this game too would follow the same pattern as the previous ODI, But captain Hope had other ideas. He forged a crucial partnership with Greaves and took the game deep. There was plenty of drama in the final over and Nurul Hasan's drop off the final ball resulted in the match going into a Super Over.

Ball 4: Akeal Hosein Soumya Sarkar, OUT! Caught by Gudakesh Motie!!
